Love the modern look, instructions excellent. Unfortunately didn’t see chemically treated furniture label, hidden in drawer until nearly done, which explained headaches. Had to give away.

Love the modern look, instructions excellent. Unfortunately didn't see chemically treated furniture label, hidden in drawer until nearly done, which explained headaches. Had to give away.

Purchased the dark brown shelving and it looks wonderful in my husbands home office. The instructions weren’t great but was able to successfully assemble it in under an hour. The shelves are laminate over pressed wood but seems sturdy.

I cannot put the bookcase together due to misalignment if shelf parts. Would not recommend this product.

Missing pieces / Pass on Overstock

It started with the pre drilled holes for the drawers that where not correct. We ended up having to measure and re-measure and figure out how to mount the drawers ourselves. Then we where missing two of the metal pieces required for the shelf. When we contacted Overstock they asked if we would like replacements parts, likely that this happened to someone else and then sent out an item that was missing parts regardless of having removed them. This also came in an extremely damaged box and corners of the "wood" had been damaged. Pass on this item and on Overstock, this was not an ideal experience and quite disappointing.
