Very loud. I mean VERY LOUD! Still not working yet as it blows air in rather than removing air. Disappointed. Costing me a fortune in HVAC, electrical & kitchen installer fees and it still doesn’t work. My installer said it was the most complicated install into a custom hood ever, Sadly can’t recommend.

This insert is SOOO NOISY!!! It is unusable in our space. And it doesn’t even vent smoke! For all the hundreds of decisions I had to make with our kitchen gut/remodel, this is only only one I really regret. Definitely buy the remote motor (quieter) option. But even then, there are cheaper models out there. I don’t recommend Zline (even if it looks cool).

Gorgeous addition to our kitchen

The hood fits perfectly into the theme of our 100 year old farm house. The option to add the stainless steel moulding was the perfect touch. We only have 7' ceilings so had to purchase the short ceiling kit in addition to the hood. We went with the recirculating option and while it does a good job we mY end up doing a direct vent as we can still set off the smoke detector! It's not a quiet fan by any means but it is great quality for a very reasonable price.

Lovely and so well made!

After hunting high and low for a beautiful range hood for my new kitchen I came across this one and was really pleased to see the price. It was just what I was looking for AND it included the fan system. I received it quickly after ordering and couldnt wait to open the box and take a look. I was thrilled to see it is just as lovely as it looks online. I dont have it up yet as my kitchen hasnt been started yet. I will take a picture and post here as soon as the kitchen is complete. Do not hesitate to purchase this. Its awesome.
