Junk material and colors are way off

First off the diamonds are not black. They are a silver black and cheap plastic. Not at all what I expected especially for the price. The actual shelf pieces were also total junk. They were peeling apart at the corners and edges were all a mess. So sad bc it’s a neat design but these should be sold at a clearance center only.

Easiest Installation

This was the easiest shelf to put up. I just moved into a brand new home and have been installing shelves throughout the house. This one by far was the easiest shelf to put up. Once you line up the first diamond, they other diamonds connect together making aligning the shelf brackets to screw in super easy. It looks amazing! Love the steel grey.

I am so very disappointed in this product, especially for the price that I paid. The shelves are wood, but the diamonds in the back are made of plastic. Even worse, the plastic is a completely different shade than the shelves. The plastic diamonds are a creamy white, while the wood shelves are a bright white. Even my kids were surprised that it looks so bad. I love the design so I’m going to try and spray paint the plastic pieces, but otherwise I’d return in a heartbeat!

It is cheaply made.

The diamonds are made of plastic and do not support the shelves. One of the diamonds broke while after putting the shelf on it. The company could not send replacement parts so shipped a whole new unit. All three of the diamonds on the replacement set broke when putting the shelves on it. I would not recommend or purchase product again. It is not worth the hassle.

Looks good, but watch for the cheap plastic!

Everything looked ok when it came out of the box. The "diamonds" are plastic, which feels cheap. The shelves are fine and seem like they will hold up. My issue came during the install. Everything mounted the wall fine, so far so good. I placed the shelves in the slots on the "diamonds" and of course they are loose, so that's when you are supposed to drive the little black wedges in on the bottom side of the shelves, which will hold them firm. Or in my case, the "diamonds" snapped when the wedge was only tapped in half way. This naturally renders them useless. Needless to say, I'm not one to return things, so I have glued the broken diamonds, 2 of them broke, and I used the 3D printer to both repair, and add extra wall support for the shelves. So my product looks a little different. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with these, especially for the price. But I'm making them work anyway, and they still look good on the wall. They really do. Just be careful of the plastic, or buy something made of wood and or metal.

These are not cheap! Very disappointed that the diamond part of these shelves are PLASTIC! For the amount of money you pay. I was assuming they would be wood as well. No where in the description does it say this. I want them to be wood like the shelves are. This is the 2nd Danya B shelf I bought that came this way. Looks so cute online. But you get plastic when it shows up. We are still going to try and hang them. But if anything cracks-goin back. I would not have bought this item if I knew this

I received this purchased about two weeks ago. it looks nice,and received it quickly. It's all plastic except the shelves (wood), but it's only strong enough to hold light-weight objects like paperback or small books, small plants,and or nick-nacks(objects). The unit came with some parts that wasn't explained in the instructions so I had no idea what to do with them (I had to guess).The frame on my bottom shelf cracked and was slanted more than 90 degrees so I had to be careful what to put on it or it will slide off.(see the pic's) I will try to fix it with super-glue. Wished Overstock.com could help. I would buy another if it was on sale at a lower price.
