Love the size of this table for the price. The wood veneer is darker than the picture but it still works in my space. The top came damaged but after a little hassle with returning, I was able to get a new one.
Table top is faux wood
Table top is not acacia wood. It is particle board with a laminate faux wood finish. Table top arrived with a screw popping through the top and particle board can be seen through the hole. Returning to Target.

Finish looks like fake wood and it smells!
I was sad that the finish doesn't look like real wood, but I love the size and base. The biggest issue is the smell. It is so bad!
not solid wood
The tabletop is not solid wood as described -- it's veneer. The distressing is a repeating pattern as opposed to random. It looks okay but was disappointing to not be solid wood.

Love It! This coffee table was easy to assemble and was the exact look I was searching for with dark brown wood and black metal. It has some purposeful distress on the top which was fine with me! I also purchased the coordinating nesting tables to go underneath. I’d highly recommend.

Table top appearance
Very well packaged. Very sturdy table. I had hoped the top would resemble real wood more, even though it says it is real Acadia wood. It seems a bit more like a laminate. Went together very easily. Overall well made and a nice size.

Very nice table. Very good quality. Sturdy. The only thing I didn't like was that they tried to make the wood look aged but the black marks the made to make it look aged were placed perfectly all over the top so it then looked a little fake. I could have lived with that, however it overall with my sofa and other furniture, it wasn't the look that I was going for. Great price.
