Nice Table

Very sturdy and nice looking. I thought it was a little bigger when ordered but it fits the area in my apartment very well. Assembly was easy, chairs were a little more complex but not to hard. I got this in the walnut and the wood is nice.

Simple to assemble and so beautiful. Great for a small space. The wood is very soft and gets scratched and dented very easily.

This is an amazing 5 piece set. It was easy to assemble and comfy to use. It has a much richer look than I expected from the pictures. Once I get my home office set up, it will be my kitchen table & gathering spot for family & friends. Excellent purchase!

Nice little table

A nice solid piece. Was easy to assemble and looks great. Chairs are sturdy and comfortable. The only real downside is that the tabletop doesn't quite match the chairs. The chair backs are a lighter/warmer brown, the tabletop is a little darker with much more wood grain in the appearance. But that wasn't enough to deter us--we still love the set. Great quality for the price!

Exactly as pictured, love the simple design. The fabric on the chairs is a nice quality and the wood finish is a nice light oak color. The assembly of the table is very easy. The assembly for the chairs takes a bit of time (parts with the included Allen wrench and parts with your own screwdriver). Be sure to NOT tighten everything fully until you have it right side on the floor and give it a little sit pressure - it ensures you don't end up with a wobbly chair. Based on other products available, this is a very good quality piece for the price point (~$500).

Dining set looks great and arrived in good condition. Table was incredibly easy to construct. Looks high quality. Chairs were challenging to put together because of unclear instructions (hence 4 stars). TIP: If you think your chairs are defective because the backrest does not sit flush against the wooden posts (which won't allow you to screw in the short bolts), unscrew everything and switch the placement of legs A and B - took me a couple hours to solve that puzzle! Slight wobble in each chair despite following instructions, but nothing that a few felt pads can't fix.

Two of my chairs had holes in the incorrect places so the back rests weren’t able to be screwed in. I need to contact houzz to get replacement parts. Other than that, the item was perfectly as described!

Not worth it!

So hard to put together. The holes does not align with the screws! So frustrating! I’m still on the first chair!

Overall it was a nice dining set for the sale price. My table arrived with a huge dent and was out of stock by the time I went to reorder a new one so that was disappointing. The chairs are on the smaller/shorter side so it would be great for an apartment or small space.

Love this table. Qaulity is great, it seems pretty sturdy. A little tricky to set up but that isn’t a big deal to me. Arrived much sooner than expected. I recieved 2 chairs first within a week and then by the next week i recieved the table and other 2 chairs.

Worth the money

I love the table and chairs. Arrived in two separate shipments in three different packages, the table, the chairs, and the legs. Took about 2 hours to put together myself and was a little difficult but not bad overall. The chairs did have some issues being stable but the instructions include detailed steps on how to readjust the hardware to fix this. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.

Great looking dining set! Mid-century design looks stylish in a young man's first apartment. Chairs sturdy, table a good size. Recommended!!

Still haven't actually received the full table. Have waited over a week for the table top. Customer service was useless. I tried emailing the ceo , no reply. Ironically, I ordered a desk from wayfair and it arrived quicker and with all parts. Worst. Experience. Ever.

This dining set was easy to assemble and so cute! I don't have any complaints about this set. I am a college student, and I spend a lot of time sitting at this table doing homework and entertaining friends! It is perfect!

I am in love with this dining set! It was the perfect size for the alcove off our kitchen. It came packaged in three boxes; each pair of chairs in its own box as well as the table in its own. It came perfect, and we had no problems at all with assembly. The instructions were clear and easy to follow (you will need a Phillips head screwdriver), and all of the pre-drilled holes were accurately aligned. The set is sturdy, there is no wobbling, and the chairs are very comfortable! The color of the walnut finish is perhaps a tad darker than pictured, which I was hoping for! This set is worth every penny I paid for it, and it really nails that mid-century look. I am extremely pleased.

Very stylish & sturdy!

This put me a while to put together (I live alone), but it looks great & was worth it. My only complaint is that one of my chairs seems to have a flaw & is extremely wobbly. One of the pieces w/ the two legs is a couple millimeters shorter than the other, so the chair wobbles. I tried everything to make it level. I had no problem with the other 3 chairs, just the 1. It’s not so bad because I have this dining set on carpet & the wobble is less noticeable, but it is still annoying to me. I had spent so much time putting it together that it wasn’t worth it to me to send anything back. I’l probably end up putting a couple of foam circles on the bottom to help level it out.

The table is beautiful and the quality is certainly moderate to high. Unfortunately, all of the chair back-rests were defective (their curvature did not match the angle subtended by the legs). However, overstock was fantastic in taking care of this issue (specifically, Alicia) and has shipped out four new back rests. We are looking forward to putting it together.

Great table, but some assembly challenges

The table and chairs it's self are really great and we love them, but when we were putting everything together we had trouble with the chairs. Mainly attaching the seats to their backs was tricky; however, when we contacted the seller they quickly sent us new parts and resolved the issue. Plan to spend a good 1 or 2 hours assembling everything if it's not really your thing; the final product will be worth it.
