Wifi failed after 1 year, remote in 3

Purchased in 2021. The hunter app is terrible and badly built but barely functional at the time. A year later the fixture became incapable of connecting to wifi for the smart features I expected. Today 2024 the entire fixture has stopped responding to the included remote at all and is 100% unusable.

Great quiet fan. Perfect for my bedroom, moves a ton of air! Easy to install. It’s WiFi enabled and it works perfectly.

Looks and functions very well. Love how quiet it is.

Fan started making horrible scraping sound after 1 year. I’m guessing the bearings aren’t getting any grease

Faulty fan

The lights flicker. Sometimes they don’t turn on if the fan is off, sometimes they do. The motor hums. The light cover is not tied so they can easily make noise when the fan operates. Overall a poorly designed and faulty fan.

Faulty Light

Bought four of these and the light randomly turns off on all. In trying to resolve this issue or obtain a replacement, Hunter has abysmal customer service. The call-in line is worthless as no one answers the phones there, I spent over two hours on the phone waiting for someone to answer before I gave up. I've been relegated to trying to resolve this via their email support where they take a week or more to respond to emails. I've been back and forth for two months now without resolution.

They cool down a room pretty quickly. However the light isn’t very bright.

Was hoping since it was advertised as whisper quiet it would be. I guess there are LOUD whispers.

Dog at the remote, universal remote doesn't work

After my dog ate the remote, I bought a universal remote from Hunter. It doesn't work and as far as I can tell there is no way to fix it.

Hunter brand assembled easily and sturdy.

Faulty fans

I’ve had these fans for a year and I just can’t tolerate the issues anymore. The remote for one of them doesn’t work at all. The lights randomly turn on for two of them and yet another one is making a grinding noise now when I have the fan going. The customer support for Hunter fans is an absolute joke and totally unhelpful. If I could give these fans 0 stars I would. Don’t waste your money.

Still having issues with the remotes and never have been able to get them to work with Google. I have contacted Hunter Fans customer service. They take a day to respond to ask question so it took a week just to have a conversation with three different people. There is a document referenced in the manual that they say is in the FAQs. The customer service never provided it and closed the ticket.

I barely got to use this fan even though I purchased it last year. I bought it for use in the master bedroom. As winter came by, there was no need for the fan. I started using it this year as the temperatures started to rise and an annoying noise would be heard, keeping anyone from falling/staying asleep. I've contacted Home Depot and they refuse to do an even exchange. They say I have to go through the brand maker but that hasn't proven to be helpful either. Please either issue an even exchange or credit. I failed to get my money's worth with this ceiling fan. Not only did I spend money with the purchase, I also had to pay for the installation. Please compensate here. It is summer now and I could really use a ceiling fan and refuse to have to pay to replace it. What a waste.

3 great, 1 dud

Purchased two smaller units a few months ago and they are great. Purchased 2 of the above and the first one was just as easy to assemble and install as the first 2. The other 52" had a problem as only 2 of the 3 screws would screw into the fan bracket. Since this was a two person effort and we were not about to take everything down, the install was completed with 2 screws for each blade - no problems all good. Call support just to make them aware. He sent fans, brackets and screws that fit perfectly. However I haven't replaced the ones that are up as I waiting for me extra pair of hands. I'm not sure I will order the two remaining fans I need from Hunter. Seems like I had to too much work to fix a manufacturing problem. BTW, technical support was wonderful and the fans are great.

I replaced this because my old fan started to hummmmm. This was hums too!

Great product. The ceiling fan blows very well better than any we’ve had before and works well with Alexa. A great buy especially for the price!!
