Pot metal was a bit flimsy

We like the fan. Very reasonably priced. No bulbs or battery for remote. One glass dome was broken.

Nice fan and i like that it has a remote. However its not a regular battery, 12v you wont usually have on hand . Had to run out to get one while it was installed so i could yest it.

The problem I have is one of the globes is cracked. And it didn't come with batteries or bulbs.

Beautiful for the patio. Very nice and comes with a remote but they don't come with a battery.

I've wanted a ceiling fan like this forever and I'm so happy with this one. It looks so beautiful and gives our living room a tropical look. It gives off a nice breeze and is really quiet. I also really love that it has a remote control. The color on the blades is a darker brown than how it looks in the pictures so I'm sharing my own pictures for better reference.

It's not the easiest fan I've ever installed, but worth it. When putting up the fan blade arms it is important to notice there is a hole to stick the screw driver through to tighten each one. It takes 2 people and you turn it to align each screw with the hole as you go all the way around. One globe was cracked and a replacement is not available, but they will refund money to replace it elsewhere.

This is a good value and I would buy it again I installed it in my recently refurbished and screened in back porch where it provides plenty of air flow and good lighting. Its five light sockets allow for plenty of light. I used 3 watt (320 lumens) LED Edison vintage bulbs and achieved a truly attractive 'warm' environment at night The five fan blades are very efficient at pushing air and with three speeds I can choose exactly the right air flow for the weather. It is virtually silent even at high speed. It took a little 'tweeking' to achieve solid balance but it wasn't difficult With the battery-powered wall mount switch and the battery-powered remote I always have control close by. Note that the wall-mount control uses the A-15 battery size and is not included in the package. It is easily obtained but make sure to buy one in advance. The one issue I have is that the lights are not on their own circuit, hence they are not dimmable. That is something canvahome should look to include in future models to complete an otherwise great the product.

The ceiling fan is perfect for my sunroom. I have a faulted ceiling and the remote control is very handy. It was easy to install and was done within an hour. It has multiple speeds of the fan. I love that the blades are made out of a durable plastic type substance. It's easy to clean. I would recommend this fan to anyone who's looking for a stylish economical option.

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:This does not come with batteries or light bulbs.You will need an A23 battery for the remote.You will need an AAA for the wall mountYou will need e26 light bulbs, but ST19 fit just fine (what we used)Now, onto the review:If you have installed fans before, this may be a cake walk for you. For those of us who have never installed a fan, it was… difficult to say the least. The directions could not be followed in order due to awkward installation and screw placement. So if you do not have the patience (in our case stubborn persistence) to figure it out, do not attempt this fan.With that aside, I purchased this fan on sale/used. I was not expecting much, but quality is solid. This is a well built fan. Better than the cheap ugly ones I saw at various large box stores for 3x the price. Despite it being “used” it came with everything in tact and nothing missing, so win win for us!This fan is more beautiful than any other fan I saw in those large box stores. It is exactly what I was looking for and what I was not finding.This fan is quiet. If it was not for the feel of the air flow from the fan running, we would not know it was on. Which is great since we have it in our living room and would prefer a fan not competing with our tv.I am happy I took the chance on this despite the negative reviews regarding installation.
