Nice looking quality buffet! Good instructions for assembly, just takes a while since there are a lot of parts. Only downside was the magnets on the doors don’t connect well so it’s like not having magnets. Otherwise, it looks really nice in our living room.

This sideboard looked perfect…the right dimensions, wine rack, mid century…everything I was looking for! It arrived well packaged. But geez! At least 40 pieces and hundreds of screws, bolts, cam locks etc. I wasn’t entirely happy with the finish (it looks as if the wood grain is painted on. It’s rubber wood so I was kind of expecting this) and the backs were a cardboard thin wood product. I didn’t want to put all the work into putting it together and not be happy so I’m sending it back. It was a BEAST to repack!!!

Delivery, just left in yard. Box weighed a ton. Instructions were fairly clear but do not over tighten at all. One seam cracked as the hole is straight through it on bottom edges. Other than that, fairly happy with purchase. Easy enough to assemble and quality seemed pretty sturdy.

This is a beautiful, high quality hardwood buffet table. Counter height too, at 36”, which is a bit harder to find. The finish is a bit darker than it appears online, more of a true walnut, but pretty. Extensive assembly is required, but instructions are easy to follow. The assembly hardware is good quality with extras provided, which we didn’t need. Well engineered, all components matched up. Much care taken in the packing materials, not a scratch. It took my husband and I about two hours to assemble but definitely worth it.. and we had fun with it. Looks beautiful in our dining room where we’ll use it as a combo bar & buffet server. Highly recommend!

Good looking piece. Has more storage than I thought it would. Some of the needed screws were missing so we had to go purchase the next best thing. My husband put it together and it wasn’t too difficult. It was delivered in one huge box after hours and it was very heavy.

It's very pretty and solid material. 3 stars because it took a LONG time to assemble and there were no holes drilled to put the back piece on. It also arrived with some scrapes and scratches where we had to use a furniture crayon to touch up.

Beautiful and nicely made wood sideboard!

This is a beautiful piece of real wood furniture and under $500. The wood is beautiful, nicely finished in a beautiful dark brown. I looked for months for a sideboard with side cabinets that had adjustable shelves inside. I want to move our liquor from a cart into a cabinet, and many of the bottles are tall. This piece offers flexible storage space and it is a great addition to our dining room! Note: the weight is 150 lb and it's quite heavy and long to get into the house by one person. It was relatively easy to put together, and it went together nicely (no crooked doors or drawers etc).

Great piece of furniture

This is perfect for my kitchen to free up some counter space. The solid wood looks great and assembly was easy enough. It took me a few hours, but I am very mechanically inclined. However, for the price it is perfect. It may not be exotic wood but it looks great nontheless. Very pleased with my purchase. We will see how it lasts in the long run but I have no concerns. Shipping was fast for such a large item, packaging was more than adequate. The only downside was that FedEx just left it in my driveway, unprotected from the rain that came shortly after, and I had a hard time alone getting it to my porch and through the door, but that is not a fault in the product

Simple but perfect for our needs. Took about 1.5 hours for one person to put together but everything was well-labeled so instructions were easy to follow!

Excellent piece of furniture

Excellent piece of furniture for the price. Buffet was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. The wood color looked just like the picture. There were some difficult pieces to assemble and the instruction booklet was missing a page. However, I found the instructions on line and completed the assemble in about 4 hours by myself. I would recommend two people assemble this piece if possible. Simply put, Simpli has great products.

Great Quality, Great Functionality, Great Style

OK - right off the bat, I will hit you with the con that is the elephant in the room. It took me about 2+ hours to put this sideboard together. It comes in a great many pieces. Realize that and you will be fine. I really feel even though it takes some effort to put together, it is well worth it. Here are some helpful suggestions. When hanging the cabinet doors to the sideboard, take the screws and pre-drill them into the sides about 1/2 way to open the holes a little bit so that when you have the door in one hand and need to get that first screw in, it will set there for you until you can get the screwdriver. Make sure when putting on the back panels, you put the screw in straight and that they are hitting the separators directly. Two little hints that will save you time and possible damage to the sideboard. This sideboard is both stylish and functionality. I bought it to go with my mid century modern dining room and the Draper dining room table that I also bought and it works great. I have attached an image that shows what the final product looks like (not the best of images but you get the idea). It is all wood, it is solid as a rock and it looks great. Nothing more needs to be said. Would I recommend this product. Yes, I would. I don't give 5 star ratings without it being well deserved. If you like quality wood furniture. If you like mid century modern. If you have some skills on following directions and putting stuff together yourself. Then I would have to say that you need to get this.

Pain to put together...

Decent piece of furniture once put together but the assembly process was both time consuming (better part of a day) and difficult (and I've put together quite a lot of furniture in my day). Unless your very handy I would look elsewhere,

The buffet looks great in our dining room. The assembly definitely takes a while and certain parts will need two people. Over all the piece looks great, has great storage and was exactly what we needed for our space. We are very happy with this purchase.

Excellent piece

This is a gorgeous and quality piece of furniture. I'm always hesitant to buy things sight unseen, but this did not disappoint. Real, sturdy wood, and a solid construction. Definitely recommend!

With a Little Patience, You'll Have a Beautiful Sideboard

This unit is very good looking when assembled, the finish is nice and uniform all the way through. It is also very solid; really, a well-made piece of furniture. Since you do have to assemble it, it takes a little patience, but the instructions are clear. The only thing about the assembly that's a little tricky is attaching the doors. While the holes in the cabinet are pre-drilled, you have to make sure that you're holding the doors perfectly level and plumb, otherwise you'll attach them a little too high or low. The holes in the cabinet are small, and hard to see when you've got the hinge from the door placed over them. Best to have a helper hold the doors in place, as you really need two hands to position those tiny screws in just the right place. Otherwise, it's sturdy and classy-looking.

Beautiful Piece

We were pleased with the look and feel of this sideboard. It looked like a piece of furniture that would be much more expensive. The only thing about it that we did not like was the back. It looks cheap with the thin board and silver screws. We could not use it behind our couch as planned because of that. Luckily, it looks very nice against the wall in our dining room. It took my husband 5 hours to put together, even though he has had experience with this sort of thing, but he said the directions were fairly clear.
