Nice corbels, the Red Cedar has a rough finish that is nice.

The large one is the Pescadero, 14"D x 30"H, 6"W Western Red Cedar (Rough Cut) sanded and finished.

poor qualiity

need to use better pieces of wood. the 2 pieces of 1x8 were full of knots and split. had to do alot of sanding for this was supposed to be smooth. took forever to get and looks like it was thrown together in 5 minutes.

These are nice substantial corbels. They do come a bit rough so be ready to do a good bit of sanding. I had a few staples that were through the front to deal with too. If you?re looking for a flawless finish you may have a tough time with these. I have a rustic feel to my house so I don?t mind the flaws. Overall I?m happy with them.

Not good

Back plate was a different wood species and the cutouts were uneven and rough. Don't buy if you want the finish these with stain or if you want your corbels to be symmetrical.

Split

I ordered 2 pairs of corbels. The other set was fine, but both of these were split on 1 side which needed to filled and sanded before painted. Good thing I had decided to paint them and not keep them natural wood.
