The customer service was outstanding

The product is great...but even better than the product was the customer service. We purchased this at the Lowe's in Tulsa Hills. I ordered online and selected "delivery". However, the product wasn't going to get there as soon as I had hoped so we took our chances going it to the store to see about just picking it up. It wasn't that simple, logistically, but the manager, Cris...was amazing! He processed, returned, re-ordered and put the workbench together. That team went above and beyond in a very impressive way!

Severely Cheapened

I've owned Gladiator cabinets and work benches for probably 20 years. Recently bought two more cabinets and a work bench and was disgusted by the cheapening that has occurred with this once quality brand. They've eliminated the option for multiple shelf height adjustments in the cabinets. No longer can you tab the shelves into slots to get the height you need. Now the shelves are screwed in place in preset holes that are too few and too far apart. The spindly legs on the work bench have been severely reduced in size, making the bench far less sturdy. The depth of the bench is now a mere 20", which is far too narrow. I won't dare to hang a vice on this thing as it will likely fall over. I would much rather have paid more to get the quality I expected rather than the crap that Gladiator is now putting its name on.

Thought I would be challenged to put this work bench together, but the instructions were straight forward and it was up and in place in under 30 minutes. It would have taken less time, but I did it alone.

This was easy to assemble. They include an extra of each fastener which is a nice touch. Opening the box, the legs are on top of the table top, and the top is top-side down, so it can be assembled with the top still in the box, so it doesn’t get scratched-up. Overall, they thought of everything!

The gladiator workbench is sturdy and works perfectly for my application.

Very heavy duty and sturdy. Top was thick and finished well. Was able to put together by myself very easily. Looks great with all my other Gladiator cabinets and shelves. I was also able to slide a Gladiator rolling cabinet underneath to store tools for this workbench.

Sturdy Work Bench

Nice sturdy workbench for tight spaces. At times I wish it were a bit deeper, but in the end it works great in my space. I like how each leg is adjustable so that I can set the back legs on my garage foundation block and front legs on garage floor.

Workbench

I purchased this workbench when it was on sale a few weeks ago. Besides not receiving an email when it was shipped and then the shipper delivered it to the wrong house I have no complaints. It went together easily and I am enjoying it. Very sturdy and looks good too.

Go Gladiator in the Garage!

My Gladiator garage products are terrific, and the addition of the workbench is a welcome add-on. So easy to assemble and sturdy! My Gladiator short cabinet fits right under it. The hardwood butcher-block style tabletop is a real beauty, too.

I debated between this work bench and the larger adjustable height work bench. This one is the perfect size for a two car garage. Provides plenty of work space but doesn't get in the way. My top did come damaged but I chatted online with support and they offered me $50 refund or free Geartrack Pack. I took the free Geartrack because you cant have enough gladiator gear!
