Meets the need.

We wanted a basic dryer that matched the washer (and replaced the dryer) we bought many years ago. Despite multiple delays in delivery, the dryer works. We installed it ourselves and it has provided good service.

Takes too long to dry

This dryer takes too long to dry. 70 minutes on high heat should be long enough. Does not try fast

WORST SERVICE EVER

Bought this online and while I was placing the order, started a chat with a Sears employee who offered to help complete the order. They started a new ticket and didn't carry over the details from the order I started. Unbeknownst to me, they left the install and haul away boxes unchecked. Imagine my surprise when the washer & dryer was delivered, and they refused to hook it up or haul away my old washer/dryer. Who does that to a person? They were rude and indifferent. Total lack of common decency. Is THIS how Sears treats it's customers? I've spent literally hours on the phone and online over the last few days trying to rectify this. And Sears says they won't do haul away now because the items were already delivered. What a joke. DO NOT give your business to Sears. They don't take care of their customers anymore. I wish I had shopped somewhere else.

Damaged Dryer

Received damaged dryer. Picked up dryer from Sears outlet. Opened up the box and saw left side huge damage from delivery. Tried to email and call. No answer. Dryer works great but the damage on side is fugly! Received no response from customer service at all.

It takes up to 3 hours to properly dry a small to medium size load of laundry. Just awful.

Good Dryer

My dryer went out and I needed one fast. I found this unit on the website, and it was priced a bit less that similar ones I found. Basic unit, but large capacity. Not fancy, but effective. The best part was that I could pick it up that day. Not always the case with other stores. One little hiccup, however. I opened an account online to make the purchase. When I went to pick up the dryer, I was told that I needed the card to get the dryer. Since it takes a week or two to get the card, and nowhere online was it mentioned that you'd need the card (or at least the number) to do the pickup...well, you see where I am going. I finally got the staff to understand the Catch-22, and they verified ID and address for the pickup. Next time, let a brotha know...

Don’t waste your money.

I had this dryer for just over a year. Already quit working. We have checked and done everything you could think of. Still isn’t working. Such a waste and I’ll never buy a kenmore product again. I wouldn’t even give it a one star if I didn’t have to.

3 and a half weeks after ordering, I cancelled my order

From Bel Air MD location...Ordered May 11 th 2020, order did not come in. Cancelled my order on June 9th 2020. As of today June 29 2020...I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY 1048.38 BACK. I have called countless times and only get lip service. NEVER a call nack...I'm going to have to dispute the charges with my credit card company...

Never delivered

Ordered matching washer/dryer May 16 to be delivered June 9. Received a text confirming that date then later I received a call telling me they can't be delivered till June 26!! When I requested a refund they told me I wouldn't get a refund for 14-30 days. Customer service not good at all. I have been a customer for many years but now understand while the store is closing.

This is probably the worst dryer you can buy in the market, save your money and buy a better brand. It doesn’t dry you’re clothes at all (takes about 5 spins) and I’ve also had to replace parts two times since I bought it last year March. Stay away!!!

Appliances made of Tin Foil

How cheap can you go. The metal is the thickness of tin foil. It bends when you touch it and the door will buckle when you open and close it. JUST LOST ANOTHER LIFELONG CUSTOMER. NO WONDER THEY ARE GOING TO BANKRUPT
