The best purchase I've made

I love this dining room set! Probably the best purchase I've made. The table is beautiful, sturdy, and stylish. I have 6 grandchildren 1 through 5 years old and the table cleans up nicely, there's not a mark on it. The chairs are comfortable and look great with the table.

The set is really nice, but it comes with an extension, but the table won’t open wide enough for the extension. Now I have to go through the hassle of calling customer service.

Great set!

Love this dining room set! Very sturdy table and I like that there is a leaf option. The fabric on the bottom of the chairs is a little sloppy and that it why I only gave 4 stars but otherwise very nice!

Pleased!

Very pleased with this dining room set! It came packaged beyond belief! Solid wood pedestal base is heavy as ever. Beautiful table top, chairs are deep enough and comfortable! This was our first Overstock purchase and we are 100% pleased! Thanks Overstock! The holidays will be spent gathered around this beautiful table!

Beautiful

This table is absolutely gorgeous and of top quality. The only issue was when they delivered it, they left it by my porch. The delivery guy refused to bring it in the house. The table is 160 lbs, the base is 50 lbs, and the chairs came in packages of 2 at 40lbs.

This set is absolutely beautiful. The table is real solid and strong. The chairs are so nice and sturdy. The chairs were a little challenging to fix the legs but once we got the hang of it wasn't bad . I love it and my family loves it so much. The texture of the chair is not flimsy at all. The details of the nailhead makes it look very modern. Thanks overstock

Reason I am giving 3 star cause dinning table has some quality or manufacture issue other than it's a very good quality dinning table sets. I like the dinning chair quality and design. Dinning table looks great too. I am waiting for overstock to resolve the dinning table issue. I'll update the review based on their response.

Very poor quality but beautiful

The dining chairs are different heights, the table and bench came damaged. The table legs and bench legs are not wood they are some kind of white plastic looking stuff so the scratches can not be polished over. The set itself would be beautiful if it weren't for the poor quality. The chair fabric pills after only a few uses.

Beautiful but had some issues

So for the good, this table is very study and looks elegant in my morning room. You will need to use the leaf if you plan on seating all chairs. The set up was fairly easy for us but you will need two people to lift as it is very heavy. Now the bad, shipping was horrible. It comes in 5 boxes so it is easy to lose boxes in transporting, which did happen. Once they all did finally arrive, the base of the table was very damaged. Like a chuck missing. I was successful in glueing it back on but when trying to put on wood touch up paint, it kept sliding off. Because the material is composite and has no pores like real wood. To be fair, I was compensated by Overstock for the damage.

Nice Set But too much Work

If you purchase this dining set, have it assembled. Everything required assembly. The delivery man refused to bring the boxes (8) into our home.

I love the color and quality of the furniture. It was also easy to assemble. The only reason for giving a 5 star rating was I felt the chairs look more squared off on the top than they do in person.
