I work from home and part of my work is presenting design solutions over the web. Sometimes, that work is presenting live whiteboard solutions. Most whiteboards are horrible, flimsy and ugly. They also have a reflectivity that results in glare on camera, which you just dont expect and wind up having to compensate for with lighting and umbrellas. So, a glass board with the right lighting can surprise you. First, theyre reasonably light. I dont recommend doing a one-person installation. Thats what I did and wound up with a 2 degree offset on the installation which annoys me and Ill wind up fixing it. Go two-person, use a carpenters level and be happy. On camera, this has a great soft look. Make sure to use markers designed for a glass whiteboard and not a regular whiteboard or youll work a bit harder to keep it clean. Microfiber cloths clean this really well. Green markers dont show up as well on camera. The mount system is actually very good. What youll likely find useful is to make a template on paper. What I mean by that is to lay out a grid of copy paper on a table and tape them all together. Lay the board on top and ensure the top is level to the top of the paper and draw the entire top edge so you have the line for the level. Then, using a marker tap into the four holes where the mount posts go. Take this sheet and put it up on the wall youre going to install it. Ensure (several times, please) the line you drew is completely level at both ends. Youll need a drill to install this, a power driver will help, too. Drill one hole at a time and verify the position each time with the white board. The kit is very good quality. As long as you successfully drill either two holes that are equally across the top or on the diagonal, youll install this correctly.

This glass whiteboard makes a fine addition to my home office. It's sturdy and solid. Dry erase markers write on it well and erase easily (I use microfiber cloths to clean my whiteboards). You can hang it vertically or horizontally and you just attach the tray to whatever side is the bottom. The tray attachment relies on little soft pads to secure it in place, sort of like a cork. It works well, but I worry what will happen if I put any weight on the tray. It was difficult to hang alone, so I suggest calling a friend over to help hold it in place while you pencil the holes. And as others have said, you really need to get the holes drilled dead on center. You can see from one of my pics what happens when you don't. It doesn't quite sit flush. Two things would have made the hanging experience better: a paper stencil that you can tape to the wall to line up and drill the holes, and some indication as to the size of the molly bolts so you know which drill bit to use.

Not too hard to install, but you may need two people and a drill to ensure that it is level. Looks very sleek. I am very satisfied with the product but i noticed some cons compared to traditional whiteboards 1) does not erase residue as cleanly. May need to wipe it down periodically 2) colored markers do not show as brightly as they do on white. Black marker looks fantastic though. Great price. I paid $50ish

Great product, only word of caution (not a complaint) is that it is a PITA to get this thing perfectly level when installing it by yourself. Its light enough for one person to pick up, but heavy and bulky enough to be very hard to line up and perfectly align the mounting brackets by yourself. Other notes: The glass sheet has a white backer on it, and if you bump it against something you will get an irrecoverable scratch on your board, so be careful. There is no mounting template supplied for it, so you're going to be stuck with a level, tape measure, and a pencil. If you buy this, plan on having at least one other person to help you mount it. It is a bit of a headache due to no template, but the end result is worth it. Love the board, and love the fact that I can clean it whenever I want (with Windex) and not have any worries about Ghost Lines. And it looks extremely sharp once installed.
