The style is attractive and the glass shades have a pretty shape. My only difficulty is the tiny switches that turn on the bulbs. They’re stiff and too small. Maybe the switches could be key shaped and thin? They’d still be in keeping with the style.

We bought 2 of these lamps to frame our bay window. Buying online is always iffy because you can't see/feel the product.

Challenging to assemble

The lamp looks nice; however, it is next to impossible to get the sections to screw into one another. The pole won't screw into the base completely and the stem pieces won't, either. This should have been a no-brainer.

Very weak base, bad design flaw

Just bought this lamp, it is very pretty. But big problem with design, the pole that goes into the main base is bad. The threads on the pole are too thin, too short and too weak. It is not strong enough to hold lamp up, bad cheap design. Couldn’t do anything with it, had to take it back. No point in trying another one as this is a bad design flaw. I also got the brass one and the colours didn’t match up either on the poles.

Poor service

The first panel of this lamp doesn't screw in as the other pieces so the lamp is lean. the small lamp shade was cracked when it came out of the box so it came apart. I notified the company they said they would ship me another lamp and I am to return the damaged one. I am very disappointed. Will never purchase that company again.

Wobbly on carpet

Do not buy this lamp if you plan to use on carpet or thick rug. The base is so small that it literally tips over. Bad design. Base should be much larger to allow to place on carpet. The only way it stands straight is to place on a flat surface like a book. For tile or hardwoods it should be good.

Poor quality control.

The first one came with a broken shade. UPS did not pick it up when they delivered the replacement. The replacement works fine but the tubes that make up the pole are all different colors. This is very poor quality control. I would like another one but Lowes will have to assemble it for me.

Quality is definitely lacking

I ordered the antique brass because the picture looked like a pretty good match to my ceiling fan. The shades are pretty and almost an exact match to the fan and the base is heavy, but none of the four pieces from the base to the daughter lamp match in color. And the switch to the mother lamp is on the wrong side and awkward to turn on. No way to adjust. Quality is definitely lacking.

I really want to give this 5 stars because I've been wanting one like it for about 10 years. It's sturdily constructed, not a bit cheap looking. The only problem (and it's a recommendation/satisfaction dealbreaker) is that of the 3 sections the pole/tube, the bottom one did not fit together and there is about a 1/2" section of silver threading showing. One side or other of the threading (I think the male end) did not get threaded far enough into the tube for the sections to fit together properly. Makes me very sad, but it's not worth my time boxing it up and sending it back/taking it into the store. I'll find something decorative to cover the silver threading, but I can't recommend this if they're all made like that.

Very good lamp, issue with 3-way bulb, still recommending

With winter coming and being stuck at home in pandemic, plus uncertainty about when school will start back in-person, we decided to get more lights for the house. We use this in our kids room and it is a huge improvement in lighting up their smallish room! We love the 3-way uplight that makes the room as bright as needed, and the separate reading light that lights up their desk. They need good lighting for all the video meetings they have with school! I'm taking off one star because the first 3-way, incandescent bulb we used, very quickly burned out - first the brightest setting, then the middle setting stopped working - in less than one month. We like the look and we like the glass shades, it's an elegant addition to their room.

This lamp looks nice and achieves the "mood" we were looking for. However, there is definitely a little "lean" in the final assembly and no matter how we adjust, the threading does not allow the top globe to seat horizontally to the floor (even without the "lean"). You can rotate the lamp's base to minimize the visual asymmetry. My wife likes the lamp and it suits her purpose. However I was expecting a higher quality.

Very faulty product

I was extremely disappointed in the lamp. The sections didn't match in color. The threading in the top was built crooked into the lamp. And when I had the lamp put withtogether and went to get the shade out of the packaging the shade was cracked clean through. I had to return the lamp to the store for a refund.

Beautiful traditional floor lamp

The style is very traditional, but very pretty. The brass is antiqued and not too bright, it is very heavy. Easy to put together. The lamp shade for the daughter lamp came with a chip, it was replaced upon request but took a while to arrive. The main lamp has a three way switch which is nice.

Everything was there and was easy to assemble. I like that it has a 3 way light on the top and I can use a 60 watt for the reading light (many of the others had a limit of 40 watt). I didn't like that the pole was in four pieces and although you really have to look, I can notice that the ribbed pieces don't quite line up. The base is nice and heavy but the pole is a tad wobbly, maybe something I can fix. Still a decent lamp for the price, much more reasonable than the others available with glass shades.

Very nice lamp that looks nice and sturdy. The lights capacity is designed well with the large lamp being 100 watts and the small one being 60 watts with separate switches for each light. The only problem is the body of the light is made of different pieces that screw into each other and they do not all match in color and this is noticeable but in general it still looks OK.

I've not owned this but a couple of weeks but love the LOOK! I'm not certain how this will hold up as the turnon stick seems a little wobbly & not strong. Hoping for the best in this switch...will know more much later. Would have given the light an excellent if I thought the switch would not break soon. Very easily put together. I say again, love the look!!!

Waste of money

First, thus lamp's finish is NOT nickel. It's like a faded brass, with a varied color from piece to piece. The "antiquing," which is actually black paint rubbed into the grooves, is very uneven. I was thinking of going to the trouble of painting it, when it tipped over, and the very nice glass shade shattered. The base is not nearly heavy enough to use this lamp on carpet, and my lamp was on indoor-outdoor carpet when it tipped over. Also, the manufacturer has nothing on their website about this lamp, much less any way to order a replacement shade. I looked at replacement shades on various websites, and they cost more than half of what the lamp cost. A sorry waste of money, but two stars for the beautiful shades.
