Cheap materials, do not bother

Product was broken the first time I ordered it and cracked in the same place on the replacement, I will not purchase this item again.

Simple narrow bookshelf good for a home office

It's simple and as advertised. Directions aren't fantastic but standard enough to get you through a simple build.

This shelf has worked well in my son's room for around six years and in that time it has taken a beating! It has gotten scratched up some but so far nothing has broken, so pretty good for the cost.

The Manhattan Comfort Practical Caterina 6-shelf Cabinet is very handy for storing my books, etc. I feel it was priced well and that greatly encouraged me to make my purchase. It looks well in the design I'm using too.

Solid furniture

Was a gift. My daughter said it was a good solid shelf. The UPS driver shoved it out of the truck so hard the box broke and the styrafoam burst, covering the driveway. There was no damage to the shelf. That speaks well for the shelf.

I put this together by myself (I'm female, 86 yrs old!). it took about 1 hour. perfect except for a slight off-balance of one door hinge (will fix asap). It's perfect for my sunroom. Now I'd like a narrow matching depth closed cabinet to stand next to it.

This was ok to put together. Clear instructions and online help. I ordered 5 of these to organize my dinning area. One had a broken handle and the replacement came today

Disappointing.

I'm honestly pretty disappointed with this shelving unit. It came pretty dinged up and with a lot of visual issues. The white of the pieces were peeling pretty badly on some of the pieces. The two sides of the shelves were unfinished on the top so you could see the wood which looked bad. Not only that but it was an awful exprience to build. I built a set of drawers and a desk with shelves just recently that were both MUCH easier to build than these shelves were. It just felt needlessly complicated in some areas and I feel like they could have used some better methods. I wish the process had gone better because the size of it is perfect for what I was looking for and I liked how it looked in the picture.

Only 5 shelves

Generally speaking, it looks like the photo. However, and BIG however here, it's only 5 shelves - not 6! I specifically needed 6 shelves because of the amount of stuff I needed to organize and inside the cabinets is only a single space, not a space divided by an additional shelf...

These shelves look good, but were unbelievably difficult to assemble...

These shelves look good, but were unbelievably difficult to assemble (even with two people.) The doors are particularly difficult to get on their hinges.

space-saving

I got 2 of these for my office, and they have served well for the past few years, despite not being real wood. They offer lots of storage in a tight space.

This is a very small book shelf

Dimensions are mentioned, I got deceived by the pic, it turned out to be small both in width and height. Certainly don’t recommend. If I have a chance would like to return the product, but I have already assembled it, so not worth the effort of dismantling, repackaging and ship.
