Very nice lights

I'm real happy with these lights. Nice and solid. I used black iron 8 and 10 inch nipples mounted to a 2" pvc cap that nicely fit existing what I believe is 2" plastic conduit in the ground. That conduit is very slightly smaller than the OD of 2" sched. 40 PVC so the caps went on easily. Secured with a couple of small sheet metal screws. Pigtails in light were plenty long. I'm using 100W equivalent (14W I think) LED bulbs so lots of light.

I used the light inside a metal column that has my house numbers on it in plexiglass. It fit perfectly and works good.

This is a good, well made product which appears durable.

Easy to assemble. Medium base bulb feature provides for lots of lighting choices. Simple to wire and half inch fitting makes it easy to attach to metal or plastic conduit. Glass and lamp structure keeps moisture out. Easy to disassemble to clean glass when necessary. Best price for a 120 volt fixture that looks smart with the bulb of your choice!

I am very satisfied with this purchase. I bought 6 and put 75 watt bulbs on them and they look perfect in the yard. The brown color looks great too.

Exterior/frame is sturdy, interior (socket) not so much.

This light is well built (sturdy) and achieves the look I was seeking. The socket itself is very "flimsy" (breaks) and I have had to replace 2 (out of 15) fixtures after a couple years. If this happens again I will see how difficult (if possible) it would be to replace just the socket. Overall, I am happy with these fixtures but did feel it would be prudent to purchase spare fixtures in case I have more problems with the sockets and I find the fixture is discontinued.

At 1 year, wiring and internal socket rusted out

The overall quality is good and looks great on the outside, but the internal electrical components are disappointing. I bought 7 of these and at 1 year, 3 of the 7 had corroded sockets and had to be replaced. All were installed professionally.

I had to replace less quality lights that look just like these. However, the old ones did Not have a changeable light but, so when they went out, they were junk. Please notice that before you make the same mistake. This Red Dot one os very good.
