Defective

The product was defective and the soap leaked into the battery compartment within a couple of days. Batteries and inside were all rusted within a few days. Then I still had to pay for shipping to return a defective product. Not happy at all.

Great when it worked!

Bought 6. Made too cheaply. Product held up for about 5 months. Stopped working and/or worked indiscriminately. Silver product discolored.

I'm a big fan of this product! I've never owned an automatic soap dispenser before, but I'm glad I do now. It took a small effort to make a big upgrade in my home. I love the stainless steel finish on the dispenser. It looks sleek and modern in my bathroom. The amount of soap it dispenses each time is just right, and the size fits perfectly on the sink without being too bulky. It's incredibly easy to use and the motion sensor works perfectly every time. My only minor gripe is that it doesn't come with batteries, which would have been convenient. This review was written by a full-time Bed Bath & Beyond employee. Still works like new after a few weeks!

Although the product packaging was crushed during shipment, the soap dispenser still worked and worked great! After a few weeks, it is still dispensing soap as it did when it was brand new. The only thing we did not like about this was that the cover over the sensor is purple. Other than the purple sensor, the stainless steel and black accents makes it look really nice and clean. No no no

Zero stars do not recommend. The tank size is small. You can be halfway across the room and it’s trying to spit soap. And after only about 4 months it completely clogged up. Can’t even return or get a refund. DO NOT GET THIS

Handsome design, but a little complicated.

The design, while attractive, is a little complicated in terms of how to adjust the amount of soap dispensed, and even at the lowest of three settings, more soap than necessary is dispensed. Seems somewhat wasteful, though admittedly the cost of the excess soap is minimal.

Very poor quality. Soap dispenses in slug mode. Dispenser worked for about 2 days then called it quits. On the third day the soap begin to leak through the bottom, destroying my expensive Duracell batteries. This item should be removed from the shelves.

Don't Order This Product

I ordered two. The amount of handsoap dispensed was minimal. I mean like a couple of drops. In essence, unusable. I had opened them, filled them with handsoap and inserted the batteries, so I couldn't return them. I ended up tossing them. Don't buy this product.

Terrible!! The lowest setting delivers way too much soap! The 2nd and 3rd higher settings use a ridiculous amount of soap! I am taking both of these back to Home Depot. If I was going to wash a full sink dishes, then it would be okay. But other than that, NO WAY!! My advice, don't purchase this brand.

pump is on a timer you set, but the shortest time is about 4 seconds. That's a LOT of liquid soap and time compared to the fraction of a second it takes to partially press a cheap softsoap pump to get just the little amount needed. Wast of money... and soap. And also the timer is triggered by a motion sensor that's a little too sensitive. It often catches the movement of my had as I'm reaching for the faucet and pumps 4 seconds of soap in the sink.

touchless soap dispenser

I bought this after seeing that our company had one. It's great for camping. No more dirty hands having to push down on a soap dispenser. If you store it then I suggest emptying it out. I left soap in it while transporting. It fell over. The soap drip out in the bag I had it in. It got rusted but Home Depot was nice enough to let me exchange it. That's my only advise if you plan on transporting it. I would recommend this.

Expected higher quality for the price I paid. The volume adjustment is poor. The lowest setting spits out way too much WHEN it's not clogged. You have to use it multiple times a day or it gets clogged. Otherwise you have to clean it before you can use it. Defeats the whole "hands-free" idea.

This dispenser is way better that other that I used before. I have these ones for one month and they are good until now. the sensor is very sensitive and sometimes is activated by mistake just because the hand was to close to the soap dispenser.

I really wanted a touch free soap dispenser. So I was excited to purchase this item. 4AAA batteries and add soap. You have to almost touch the dispenser for it to dispense. It worked well on generic soft soap, but when bi switched to anti bacterial soap it would barely dispense any soap. I rinsed it out and it works dispense water no problem?! Still looking for the best economical automated dispenser.

Too fenicky. Sensing zone is set too wide. Wastes soap. Releases soap when a hand or sleeve passes by but not directly beneath the sensor. The unit does not respond fast enough. You have to hold your hand under the sensor for at least one to two seconds before soap is dispensed. As other reviewers have stated the Lysol made a better dispenser with a larger capacity and a smaller physical size. Too bad I can't find Lysol soap dispensers when I want them.

Does not work

When I saw the negative reviews before getting this soap dispenser, I thought those could be from the users that did not use it properly, which could happen to many products because people tend to leave negative review more than positive. So I went ahead and purchased one from a local Home Depot.

Don't Buy, Keep Shopping

Bought this item and a package of batteries, got home and put in batteries and soap, and pressed the on/off and held it and the light never did flash or did anything I could not get this item to work at all and I messed around with it and took out my batteries and put the batteries back in it and held the on/off down for 5-7 minutes and no light came on the item never did come on nor it never worked and did not dispense any soap. This is not worth buying very disappointing not worth $19.97 not even worth $5.00, I would not even give $1.00 at the dollar store for this. I am hoping the store will take it back since I put soap in it and give me my money back otherwise I am out $19.97 plus $3.67 for the bottle of soap I put in it. Do not waste your money or time on this, keep shopping.

Love it! I purchase this to put on my island in my kitchen because my sink is made in the island and this soap dispenser blend with my stainless steel appliances. Most all my friends and family members who first time visiting always seems to notice it and ask where I got it from. It works good and put out the right amount of soap to use. Great Product
