It was a little too bright and I didn't have a dimmer switch so I got Edison light bulbs and it is perfect.

Perfect fit and Style

This Asian Four Light Down fixture is the perfect solution over our dining room table. With a large skylight above the table, we had to offset the lighting fixture. Using this horizontal shape helps distract the eye from its not being centered. LOVE the light showing through this beautiful glass! Using a dimmer allows it to just glow when full light is not needed.

Looks So Great!

We have had 2 fluorescent lights one over our island and one over the kitchen table since we bought this house 11 years ago. I looked everywhere for a fixture, came to this web page and found it right away! It makes the island area look so modern and expensive, but it was NOT!

Love it, overall...

Looks great! But, one issue--1 of the 4 shades was cut off unevenly, so it was difficult to adjust it (by turning it) so it wasn't obvious that it didn't quite match the rest. I finally got it to a place I could live with it--would've sent it back, but I had company coming and didn't want to have one bulb shadeless, while I waited for a new shade. Also, four 100-watt bulbs are way too bright. I went with 60 watts, and they work much better, esp. with a dimmer.

Quality look for the Price

I love our new light fixture. Great quality for the price. The glass is prettier than the picture shows. Even though it's typically used over an island, we chose to use it in our dining room because it's small and narrow and doesn't obstruct the view out the large windows at one end due to being a narrow sleek light fixture. The bronze tone is perfect. Fairly fast shipping, well packaged and nothing broken. Easy to install. Very pleased with this purchase!

We had a problem mounting the shades as the porcellin base had a dimple and would not permit us to mount the shade. We did work thru it and we love the light. Would definitely purchase again.
