Reduces Space

I love this. Definitely one of the most ideal items to help you reduce space. Right now, these shelves helped me reduce half of the space my bookshelves took. Looks nice and definitely a keeper.

I was very disappointed with the product. I knew it was MDF but didn't realize it's mostly plastic. I needed it for right next to the stove, not plastic. I wasted the cost of the item and still need a shelf. Im going to buy one from Home Depo. (who I should have purchased in the first place) they have wire shelving for about the same price. 🙁😡

I’ve got one in my kitchen for miscellaneous items. It’s great for my bedroom too. Use organizing cubes in all 3 shelving units to store items into categories. Bedroom units are for clothes %26 tv goes on top of shelving!!!

Not as good quality as they used to be

Have bought many of these shelves in the past and always liked them. Easy to assemble, lightweight, and easy to break down for moving. I guess the quality of new shelves being made is going down. Plastic screw together pieces did not fit together correctly, the threads did not line up, which makes for a wobbly shelf.

Ideal mini-office project

Easy and quick putting it together (though admit the tubular part will give hands a slight workout (I am a senior). I gave a 5-star rating in spite of one shelf had a slight nick on top of the edge (color side) so maybe they can wrap the shelving in light bubble wrap) as this most likely happened by the shipping company and not Walmart. Overall delighted to have it so I can complete my mini-office organization. The color is perfect because my desk is also the same color and so everything coordinates. Plan to purchase two more in white only if they have it for my bedroom. Recommend the product as it is sturdy once assembled and they provide a loop, screw and hook to secure it if there is a flooring issue (being uneven or carpet not tacked down properly). Would not recommend overloading as these are sturdy but they are not metal.

Only 1 11" cube per shelf, wasted space

Description gives dimensions (which I pay careful attention to with all things I might purchase online) AND states it works with storage cubes, which is why I bought 3 of these (and more cubes). Well, yes you can put a storage cube on a shelf, as you can any shelf that is tall and wide enough, BUT, these will only hold ! CUBE PER SHELF leaving a lot of empty space, and in my case, a bunch of cubes I have no place to store. I ONLY BOUGHT THESE BELIEVING CUBES would fit. I have had this brand of shelf before and knew quality (pressed wood product that does not support much weight and will eventually droop from moisture absorbtion) and the ease of assembly, but, as stated, bought these specifically for cubes. It is reasonable to believe the statement about cubes and not think it contrary to actual dimensions stated as there are many things online that are more an approximate size given. (Just look at rugs, the same rug on different sites will be given a 6 foot width on one site, and a 6 foot 3 inch width on another.

hunk of shi* don't waste your money or time.

i bought 6 of these units a while ago while they were on sale, once they were out of the box i was wearry of how cheap the poles were and sure enough after a month the particle board shelves started bowing in a u shape. i have them in the basement with light objects like garden planters and misc house hold items, nothing over 10-15 lb on each shelf. NOT only did the shelves start to misshape, which i could live with , the poles have now started to give out and the all the units shifted over. i had to take everything off the shelves and retighten the poles only for some of them to snap and break.the ones i was able to retighten still slant and will probably have this issue again not long from now. i have had them for maybe 3 years so they paid for them selves but now i need to spend another $160 on metal or thick resin /plastic shelving racks to replace these which is what wish i did from the start!

The height of the shelves was perfect, couldn't have done better if I custom ordered it. A little wobbly but has a fastener you can secure it to the wall with. Easy to assemble and believe it will be very durable.

Worst quality I've ever seen

This is the worst piece of furniture I have ever seen. I'm shocked Walmart would carry something so terrible. The finish on the shelves is uneven on the edge and on the face (see pictures) and looks like a 2 year old glued it on. The shelves are barely half an inch thick and would probably sag after a matter of days. I didn't know you could make particle board so thin...The plastic tubes seem very fragile. Finally, the whole thing is very shaky once you put it together. I immediately took it apart and returned it. Save time and money and don't buy this.
