The old block was just too crowded

On my old 21 slot block I had several slots holding two knives. So when replacing my 45 year old WÜSTHOF 6 inch knife I thought I would expand the neighborhood and expand to 35 slots.

Supreme steak

I have purchased Wusthof knives for years and their blocks. This purchase was to replace a smaller block for a relative that required more slots for the Wusthof knives I purchased for them previously. Speaks to the quality of their products.

Great Knife Block

Wondering why I did not purchase years ago. I have lots of good knives and could not fit them in my old knife block I had a number of them stuck in drawers. Now, everything is together and organized. Love the size and the wood stain.

Good knife block

I liked that this knife block didn’t come with knives since I already have a set. The acacia wood looks nice on my counters. Seems very solid and durable.

Mishapen and not well made

Slots had glue bits dangling inside and these had the be cut out to allow a knife to be seated, and several slots were not properly cut.

Good quality knife block

I recently bought the Acacia Knife Block and am really happy with the purchase. It's high quality, solid wood and each knife slot is sized as described. The only thing to note is that the bottom of the slots are not enclosed so if some of your items are too long they will hit your counter.

Largest Quality Knife Block

It looks great in my kitchen with its contrasting Acacia grain. The knife block holds all my knives, scissors and sharpening steel, except my Serbian Cleaver. That knife is too tall for any of the slots. The block is well made and the Wusthof nameplate (not a sticker) is firmly attached and perfectly aligned. This knife block met all my expectations and is a beautiful addition to my kitchen.

Great knife block!

I love this knife block. THIS THING IS MASSIVE!!! Nice to have my knives in one block instead of two. Plenty of space to add more knives in the future.

Great as I outgrew my previous block! - But would like more wide slots

Very nice block. I was looking for something that was not only large enough for everything I've got, but could also accommodate some of my longer pieces (12" honing rod, 12" (advertised, actually 11.5") slicer, 270 mm gyuto). The top two rows are 12" long and so the knives and honing rod fit just fine without poking through the back.

35 slot knife block

very disappointed in the finish. all the photos online show a cherry finish. the one shipped to me has a lot of light wood with a clear finish mixed with a darker finish. it's not a good look, very cheap looking finish.

Not enough wide knife slots

Nice knife block but it could be improved on. There are only two wide chef knife slots and even these wide slots aren't wide enough for some of my wider chef knives. I'd like to see more wide and extra wide slots. Also, the cleaver slot should be wider to accommodate Chinese cleavers.

Great quality! Recommend for that larger knife collection.

Good quality. Plenty of slots for my odds and ends collection of knives. Could have a thicker slot to fit a ceramic rod that I have; it'll have to stay in a drawer.

Exactly what I was looking for!

My collection of Wusthof knives had outgrown my current storage block and I found the 35-slot version at the Wusthof online store. Perfect…with a couple of spare slots in case I need another Wusthof knife. 😉

Perfect Size

This Wusthof block is the perfect size for all the essential knives, with extra slots for a few other paring knives. The block is nice and sturdy and the rubberized feet keep it in place on the countertop.

Great features and solid construction!

We bought in February of this year and sorely needed an upgrade on our knives and storage. We love the fact we had several finishes to choose from and this one made a great addition to our kitchen! Plenty of room for steak knives which we did not have in our previous block set.

Very nice, great quality

Love my kitchen and I have a nice mixed set of Sanelli knives collected over the years. My previous block was full and always a hassle to get more knives in or to push them all the way in (one of those bamboo stick affairs). This takes all of my knives and scissors plus the steak knives and still has room for about ten more. It is wonderful. It is large, I was looking for large. Super solid, does not move around on the counter when taking knives in and out.

A knife rack that will become the focal point in your kitchen - stunning!

Great quality, holds enough knives and looks fantastic. The only thing is this - it only looks great when it's full. So, I had to order some knives that I should have probably purchased 30 years ago to fill it up.
