Bought this for the landing on my staircase to hold some extra books. It is a very nice looking piece and worked perfectly in that spot, as it wasn't too deep. Only disappointment was that the two drawers don't have any support. When you open them over halfway, they basically fall out - nothing holding them in, so they are basically unusable except for something very light such as keys or a few papers.
