I put this tile in my laundry room and needed more and this package matched perfectly. It really brightens up the room. I hope to buy more after the holidays.
They do not stick to primed surfaces.
Cute, but nothing I would not install these for a customer. Brand new, primed floors and these just do not stick. It's been days. These will have to be glued with floor adhesive. Either buy the extra adhesive or just don't buy these. Very poor quality. Would not recommend, will not be purchasing any flooring from home depot for our business again. Delivery took weeks, home depot kept sending messages to come pick them up and they were not in the store.
This flooring is beautiful! I get so many compliments on it. I installed it in one of my bathrooms. However, over the winter - even with the vent totally closed - the heat scorched the tile and I had to replace a few pieces. Not too happy that it didn't hold up to heat from a closed vent. Other than that, I love it and it was easy to install.
I bought this item to install in my kitchen, but, I returned it. It looked like it had wrinkles in it. It was not a smooth surface. I don't have photo's because I returned the product
This brand is terrible
I bought these and had the worst luck, they wouldn’t stick flat on the ground, the edges kept popping up. Tried another brand and they worked beautifully so I’m sure the problem is with these tiles and not my underlying surface.
It's pretty, but that's about it. Didn't even stick to the floor even after following installation instructions perfectly. Adhesive was gummy. Don't waste your money!
Adhesive on back of tile came loose from tile.
Tile is defective. Adhesive separated from back of tile. Tile will not stick to floor. Also top is peeling of of tile. Not happy. I want a refund.
Bad Tile
I bought this self adhesive vinyl tile to redue a bathroom floor but after replacing the subfloor and preping the new floor by wiping it down, cleaning and priming the floor with two coats I found that alot of the tile just we’er not sticking but others are just fine. I would not recommend this product to any one.
Awful Quality
The patterns are cut uneven. We followed the directions for applying over concrete. The floor was primed just as it was supposed to be. Just don’t waste your time on these. We will be pulling these up and redoing it.
I bought a house with a green house attached to the master bedroom. I am NOT a gardener by any stretch of the imagination so I decided to turn the room into a "she shed" type little office/lounge room. Since it is a green house and does get lots of sun and sometimes moisture, I didn't want to do anything very expensive or delicate. I think the room turned out great. The install was lengthy but not difficult.
Very nice I am using it for the wall behind the stove and around the cabinets. It matches very nice, When I finish I will send to a photo you maybe can use it or just do the set up your self will come very nice. Thank you. I am in a Condo I will tell other tenants. I think it needs more stars , I have liked every thing I purchased from you. I just started working on it. Thank-you Patricia
Nice but not great
I like the pattern as I did not want something to dark for my laundry room that has no windows. So for that I would give it 5 stars. However, the print looks stuck to the adhesive mat. Upclose it looks cheap (thus the 3 stars), but from the floor, you can't tell. For my needs, it would be ok. However, I did return as it was not the right color for our scheme. The color is as pictured; it just didn't match well with our decor.
This the best 100 I spent. These tiles was an easy way to update a junky laundry room off the garage. Just laid it so not sure how its going to hold up to wear and tear of the floor that the family uses on a daily basis. I will suggest that you use a self stick primer that you roll on to the floor before laying the tile. The tiles do want to pop up and the primer helps with that.
Great looking tiles!
Love the looks of the Retro Slate tiles! The installation was easy and pieces were easy to cut as I had to work around a few permanent objects. One of the workers at Lowes told me I should prep the floor with a liquid adhesive for peel and stick tiles to make sure they have a good bond. My husband said I didn't need it. Sigh, I should have listened to the worker. I laid the tiles in my basement laundry room over old tiles that were in good condition and cleaned but difficult to remove. However the floor is cold and the tiles are not all sticking. I may have to go back and do some other adhesive. I will do it because I love the tiles and they brightened up my laundry room!
A few tiles from one box had sticky gunk on them, some of which I realized only after laying them and walking with dirty feet on them. All the tiles in another box (out of 4 boxes total) had crooked backing that left a small sliver of sticky tile to stick to the others and collect dirt...
Great looking tiles and great quality. The colors are great!...
Great looking tiles and great quality. The colors are great! They do have a slight texture to them, sort of a wave pattern - so they're not perfectly smooth.
I LOVE THESE TILES!
I'm not a great DYI person but, I put these tiles down in my guest bath and they look beautiful. I had to ask my neighbor to help with cutting to go around the toilet and pipes (measure twice, cut once.... learned that the hard way). But, it looks great and I painted the vanity the same color grey as in the tile; blue rug the same color and a printed blue and grey shower curtain. I'm very proud, if I must say so myself. ;
Do Not Stick!
Did not stick properly. Tiles are easily damaged, pattern does not match up at the corners, and the tiles are very glossy with an unnatural texture that can't be seen in the website pictures. After laying down the whole floor we (easily) pulled up the tiles and returned them as there is clearly something very wrong with this product, specifically it's adhesive. Found this same product on other websites, and almost every review mentions the adhesive problem.
