Originally purchased this chair for my elderly mother. However, when my elderly father seen how it assist with daily living he took it over. He is much more confident it sitting now that he knows he won't get stuck sitting for a long period of time waiting for someone to assist him. He has also been able to dress himself independently with the help of the chair which he will use as a back support while standing.

Good lift chair

Works great. The only negative is that is not really beige, it's more white. Wish there was a darker option.

This is a very nice looking chair and the lift works well....but....the seat is very tight and I'm not a large person. The back leans back on one side and I can barely feel the heat. I am going to look into returning it.

Love this recliner!

I needed a powerlift recliner because I was scheduled for extensive rotator cuff repair surgery on my dominant right arm. I think recliners are really ugly and didn't want to spend that much money on an ugly piece of furniture to go in my newly redecorated living room. I looked at many online sites and had about given up on finding one I could live with. I decided one night to go back to Big Lots site once more and just keep scrolling through the pages All of a sudden this one came up. It said it was beige, but it looked more pale yellow. My new sofa and loveseat are yellow. I checked the stars and read the reviews, which were mostly all positive, so I took a leap of faith and ordered it. Other than shipping issues (FedEx lost it when it reached our area depot, saying it had already been delivered. My brother works for a FedEx subcontractor. His boss drove all the way out to the depot, hunting until he located it and had them load it up on an empty truck to deliver straight to my house. It arrived a just few hours after I'd returned home from surgery.) I couldn't be more pleased! Not only is it quite comfortable, lifts me up and down easily with my arm in this huge harness, but it also fits beautifully with my decor. It is a very light, buttery color of beige that matches perfectly. I couldn't have had one custom made to match any better!

This is a great lift chair.. I purchased it for my husband who was being released from a rehab nursing home and is stil very weak, he sleeps in it. He tells me all the time how comfortable it is and that he feels very safe in it. So very glad i purchased it.. the cost was very very reasonable, and it shiped on time ,,, wonderful product.

It's s so slippery that my client slid out of this chair when lifting herself out on several occasions. Twice she ended up on the floor for hours until someone found her and the last time she broke her ankle. I would not recommend this chair for anyone let alone a senior citizen. This chair was over $400 and we trashed it due to this hazard. For a senior citizen on a fixed income a $400 loss is a big deal. Very disappointed in this product. Do not buy!!!

Excellent solid build!

Excellent value! This works really well for me in my television room. It is very well built over all and all of the mechanisms are solid and work well for a person who is 275 pounds.

Don't buy this it has no power controller

This chair was delivered to me 4 weeks ago and had no power controller included. Despite an outrageous number of phone calls and emails, there has been no effort on big lots part to do a thing about it.
