Would not buy again - cheap look and small space

This item finally arrived after being several weeks late and I was very disappointed. It doesn't look anything like the picture. The wood looks fake and cheap. It is sturdy, but the look/feel of the wood is just terrible and I can't find anything to match it. It reminds me of the old fake wood panelling the used to use in the 90s. The drawers are impossibly small. I can barely fit a few t-shirts. My husband 5'11 190lb can only put 1 pair of jeans in. If I could return without it costing more, I would. Very dissatisfied.

Beautiful well-made piece!

The quality is excellent- a beautiful finish, more durable than the photos suggest, the top drawers are lined, all the drawers open and close smoothly and silently. It shipped quickly and delivery was easily coordinated with the shipping company. The freight packaging was the best I've ever seen. It does have a slightly darker appearance than the photograph with gray tones but as I'd read that in other reviews it was expected and is exactly what I wanted.

Bad shipping company

Overall it's a good size. The drawers were a little smaller than I was hoping, and it doesn't look as much like real wood as I was hoping. We had a terrible time with the shipping company that was supposed to deliver this. Different people would give me conflicting information over the phone, couldn't schedule delivery due to many issues, and Overstock was going to charge me to send it back after their shipping company wouldn't deliver it. Eventually we scheduled something and I was going to make it work, only for them to show up completely unannounced/unscheduled and call me to come back home. Then on top of everything, it was one person delivering alone when the package weighed 500 pounds. I had to help him get it to my door. This experience makes me hesitant to buy from Overstock again when I can't control what shipping company is used.

I LOVE this dresser! Its quality and such an interesting piece. And looking at it you would think it would weigh a ton but its actually very light and easy to move.

Color is not as pictured - not oak color at all

Well built. Nice dresser. Color in picture is not even close to the actual color. It's less of an oak color and more of a ashy, dirty brown. Kept it because it's too big to ship back but it doesn't match my oak floors at all.

I am obsessed with this chest! I bought two and used them as night stands and they look absolutely wonderful in the space. The wood has a beautiful finish and it seems really well made and high end!

The dresser is a great and sturdy one. I love the way it looks--it matches the photos. The only thing that's not so great is that the drawers themselves don't hold that match- they aren't that deep.

The dresser turned out well for use in my sons' bedroom: a nice masculine piece and just the right size for where it was placed. In practice, though, the drawers turned out to be a strange size. For our needs, it suffices.
