I had one of these years ago, it was heavier and better constructed. This new design is too fragile and not durable if dropped on hard surfaces. I wouldn't purchase

My two adjustable cups were old and the lettering faded...

My two adjustable cups were old and the lettering faded or worn from use. I do quite a bit of baking and cooking so I hope this adjustable cup will provide me with many years of use. It seems sturdy and has many different units to choose. Time will tell.

Handy measuring cup

I used one of these at a friends when we were processing, measuring and freezing persimmon pulp in 1 cup portions for baking. Hers was only 1 cup, though, so I like that this one is 2 cups. It's great for sticky stuff like persimmon, peanut butter, shortening, molasses, etc., because you get all the measured amount out of the cup without scraping. the sides. It has markings for liquid and dry measurements. I took one star off because the markings are a bit difficult to read.

Great experience

I received my measuring cup a few days ago. I have used it only twice but, I love it. The only not so go part is it will not stay on the measuring mark. However I think it is me.

Good quality

I had a similar measuring cup that got so much use I had to replace. The quality of this is great, but it is a little difficult to get the measurements. They use the same side for both liquid and solids so you need to be very careful to use the correct column. My other one flipped over for liquids and it was cut out so the "plunger" served as a cup. Much more user friendly than this one.

Does not fill liquids in side the cup like the pampered chef does

.You can only use for measuring solids & its flimsy & wobbles which makes it hard to fill accurately so it doesnt hold or slide well. The only thing I like about it is the measurements are easier to read

Almost perfect

This is a well designed product that has no easily breakable plastic parts that will crack. It's a better design than a previous product I purchased (from someone else). In theory, it should be just what I was looking for. In practice, the outer sleeve slips down when I measure oils. It would be better if the rubber seal were just a tiny bit tighter so I didn't have to hold it when I measure slippery ingredients.

A replacement

Purchased this to replace an older unit whose gasket had gone bad. I use this quite a bit and like it much better than standard measuring devices for viscous fluids such as syrup and honey.
