Where is my order

not very happy, I am still waiting for an order that said it would be delivered 2/28/24. It's 3/3/24 and when I check the order status it will not let me track it. nor will it give me any more information besides "Processing". I would like to be able find out what is happening and why it has not come in.

Great product

I was looking for a standing desk that would also work sitting. I also wanted a keyboard tray that would be below the desk level. I had hip replacement surgery a couple of months ago, and sitting 8 to 9 hours at a desk working from home was bothering me. I did a lot of research and decided on the Ergotron WorkFit-A, Dual Workstation with Suspended Keyboard. It's been great. I am a hard typer, so when standing it does wobble a little bit, but it's not enough to bother me. Assembly took some time, but this is because I was not in a hurry. If you buy this product, follow the directions and you shouldn't have any problems. The pictures seen like it takes up a lot of room, but it doesn't.

Great Product

I have been using Ergotron products for years. This one is working out great. So much so that I am ordering a second one.

Tried to replace standing desks

We purchased five of these Ergotrons to replace actual standing desks and 3 of the 5 are sitting in a storage closest now. When working in a standing position the module is bouncy, no place to write and no place to hold other items from a standing position. These modules are very large, so when using it from a sitting position it takes up the entire desk space so you lose all of the free space that you would normally have to perform non-computer work.They are not very easy to shift from side to side so when guests sit at your desk the Ergotron acts as a barrier from speaking to someone and looking at them. They are pretty sturdy, and the quality seems to be decent. It does take a while to assemble, two people for thirty minutes. They are shipped in very large boxes and you will need a hand cart to move them.

2 YEAR REVIEW

So, I have had this product for over 2 years, and I can honestly say this is one of the best purchases I have made regarding office equipment. This product is made with great quality in mind, and the only complaint I have is that after about a year the lower platform has dropped about half an inch to an inch at the most. Let me just re-enforce what I mean her it has drop so little that I can place things on it without them rolling off (it’s just about not even noticeable). This desk does not make noise when I move it and I do not have any issues regarding maneuverability. I recently just purchased a second stand so I can have one for work and one for home. As a veteran with many back issues due to combat related injuries this product has made my career in software development possible. Once again this is a great product and i would 100% recommend it to everyone.

Great versatility

I like how many options this product provides and the ease of use once installed. Installation was the only challenge, and the instructions could be clearer.

Employee Very Happy

We were having a hard time finding a standing workstation option for our employee due to the desk area that she works in. This solution works perfectly, is very stable, and has plenty of options to tilt/swivel/turn the unit into a position that works for her.

There's room for improvement

I had mine installed yesterday and I like it, but right away I knew the monitor screen tilt would be bothersome. You only have the option to have it at a 3 degree tilt or higher which makes no sense in the sitting position. I also wish the arm could move back and forth instead of just up and down. Takes up quite a bit of space if you are in the sitting position. This design was made to accommodate the standing position much better.

This is easy to use.

This Ergotron product is excellent and easy to manage up and down and vice versa. Can accommodate two monitors with nice space in between and has two trays to accommodate the key board and at the same time reviewing the document that your are working it. This is amazing product and I can recommend to anyone and I am very sure they will love.

Performs as advertised

I have installed 3 of these workstations and they perform as advertised. I have 2 installation using the clamp mount and one with the grommet mount. The clamp mounts are on the back of the desks one is directly in front of the user, the other is off to one side. The grommet mount was used in a corner desk a little off center to the right to accommodate a narrow return. I installed the monitors keyboards mice etc., and adjust the tensions specific for each user. The workstation maintains its position whether sitting or standing or in between.

It wasn't what I thought

It looked great online. The monitor arm wouldn't stay up. You can't tilt your monitor screens up or down. They stay in one position. Other than that, the overall design is good.

Ergotron sit/stand workstation.

Great product, very well engineered with well thought out, heavy duty, and nice looking adjustable components. Assembly isn't for beginners, but with some mechanical ability it can be done in an hour or two. Assembly instructions aren't very clear, mostly just vague pictures, but there are enough clues there to figure it all out. After adjusting the spring loads, movement from sit-to-stand and stand-to-sit is exceptionally smooth, and the whole unit staywhere you put it without creeping up or down. The keyboard tray's being below desk level when in sitting position is a big plus on the ergonomic side. Simple mechanism for adjusting monitor angle and spacing between monitors is very handy. By far the nicest sit/stand unit that I've seen..

I'm free to stand!

This product was a little time-consuming to install, however is an excellent quality desk for daily use. I love that I can sit, stand, and easily turn my monitor away from the window at certain times of day for optimal lighting. I can now spend hours a day standing and working, rather than sitting in one place. It has had a fantastic impact on how I feel at the end of the day. Neck strain is less and I don't feel like a lump for sitting for 7-9 hours. Big fan and thankful I found such a life impacting product.

Great idea but didn't hold my monitors

This is a great idea for a product. I had to return it because it wouldn't hold my monitors. Also, be cautious when you are ordering from Staples because they are horrible with returns and crediting. It's been 6-7 weeks now and I still haven't been credited for the return of this item.

When I put the workstation together, it was great. It seemed study and well built. However, it doesn't hold much weight and couldn't hold-up my monitors. I had to return it and order a different workstation. Also, keep in mind, I returned this workstation. It's been a month and I still haven't received my credit for the return.
