This is a nice basic stand. It is the perfect height for me to raise my monitor up slightly to make it a better position for the height. The width and height underneath make it perfect for hiding chargers and a power strip. I have mixed feelings about the included USB hub. It is somewhat archaic having USB 2.0 ports and just one USB 3.0 port but it is a good example of why incorporating technology into furniture can be a challenge when this stand should last for decades, the USB hub is already showing its age. I did find it good for connecting keyboards or mice and other low-power items. Overall happy with the "3M Adjustable Monitor Stand with 4-Port USB Hub, Black, Great for Computer Monitors, Laptops, TVs, Speakers, Printers and More".

am very pleased with this monitor riser by 3M. Not only is it well-constructedI can believe how solid it is.it was super easy to assemble as well. (I had it put together in all if 2 minutes!). Its a larger size than a lot of the monitor stands out there, and will easily allow you to slide your keyboardand possibly even mouseunder it when not in use to get more desk room. An added bonus is the built in USB ports on the side. The only thing you have to do to use them is to plug the bank into a USB port on the PC. There is one USB 3.0 port and 3 USB 2.0s. The attached cable is not very long, so if your computer is on the floor youll need an extension. All-in-all, I know I will enjoy this monitor stand.

It's not metal for this price, which I sort of expected it to be. My wife doesn't like that the additional leg stands to raise it up are not solid black like the reset of the stand. She feels the transparent plastic makes it look cheap. It is very sturdy even for my wife's large monitor. The USB hub works without issue and my wife can even charge her iPhone from the USB 3.0 port. Though I don't know why more of the ports aren't 3.0 or higher. USB 2.0 is so old school...especially when 3.2, 3.1, and 3.0 are typically backwards compatible with 2.0. The USB cable is only long enough to reach a desktop computer actually sitting on the desk top or for a laptop on the desk. If you have a computer on the ground or to the side of the desk, then just forget about it. I don't know if a USB extension cable would work or not, but it's possible. OVERALL: Solid monitor stand. Old technology USB and short cable limits what you can do with it.

Because of the type of work I do and the hobbies I have, I have a lot of monitor stands. It has to number more than a dozen. In all cases, each of those stands is exactly that, just stands, be they metal or plastic, small or large. And they generally get the job done too. However, I'm always on the lookout for stands that do just a bit more than stably hold up a monitor or other item. These monitor stand "pluses" can be both surprisingly rare and surprisingly expensive. Fortunately, in the case of this 3M adjustable monitor stand, the included 4-Port USB Hub is just about the most logical addition to a quality stand, and it's not too expensive either. Typically, I'm OK with just a regular stand, but there's no denying the value in making more use of the space you're taking up anyway. Specifically as it relates to me, I have an older HPENVY 27-b114 AiO PC as one of my secondary systems that I both need to raise up as well as increase the accessibility of its USB ports. This 3M stand offers 3 USB 2.0 (white) ports and 1 USB 3.0 (blue) port as part of its hub from one USB 3.0 cable. Of course, you can still plug the cable into a USB 2.0 port, but won't get the full speed or bandwidth you can from using a 3.0 port. The height is adjustable with simple snap-in risers from 2.7 inches to 3.9 inches. There's 18.4 inches of space between the legs, which take a good bit of force to pop in, but are quite stable once fully inserted. All of this room is handy, of course, and is particularly useful for how I want to use it as you can see in the photos. While I'll never hit the weight limit of roughly 33 lbs., it's nice to know it can withstand such a load. The USB hub itself works well, with no issues in my testing. Throughput is consistent with my expectations for each of the port types. If you're looking for a quality monitor stand that does just a bit more, the 3M Adjustable Monitor Stand with 4-Port USB Hub does a good job at a reasonable price for this type of product.

I love this 3M computer stand! The width is awesome. My previous stand was around the same width as my laptop, and it seemed a little small. I like that you get little plastic risers, so you can adjust the height. I also like that it includes the ability to connect your devices (mouse, printer, etc) directly to the stand. I feel that plugging and unplugging these cords from my laptop can't be good for the laptop. With this stand, I don't have to worry about this. It is very sturdy and looks professional.
