Office Depot / their contractor replaced the defective lectern. It has served well for the past 2 years.

The portable lectern is sturdy and meets our needs. It breaks down easily in two pieces. For transporting from location to location, I would prefer that the top and bottom were designed to come off easily. Also, for transporting, we had to create a protective cover for the top to prevent scratches. Overall, a good basic lectern on a budget.

I needed this lectern from Global so that I could do some computer work while standing. The quality of the product is superb and the ease of assembly was remarkable. The customer service from Global has been outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase products from them again.

[Rewarded Review] Replacement of defective component not received

This item is reasonable quality it is the second one that I have ordered all though the last one was quite a few years ago. However this one has a defect on the lower column in that the adjustment nut was not properly secured.

Perfect for My Needs

As an industry based instructor this lectern is perfect. Not to big that over powers my presences, which steals the show, and large enough to hold my book of lesson plans.

Great product and support!

It's a fine lectern, portable and easily adjustable -- good looking too. One of the feet had a hole drilled slightly off kilter, and I stripped a bolt trying to make it fit. Oklahoma Sound quickly replaced everything. The best products sometimes have defects; the best companies fix them fast!

Love it!

The lectern easily holds a heavy unabridged dictionary. Legs and post are adjustable; legs are footed. A nice pieve of finished wood serves as a stop for yhe book. The lectern portion is ample for a large and heavy book. Nice piece!

Oaklahoma Lecturn

Quick Delivery via UPS Standard. Easy to put together except one screw gave us a challenge to get it started. Meets our need at the church for Sunday School and Song Leading. Big top for several books and papers to set upon. Mahogany finish looks good.

Great Stands, Great Price

You can't beat these stands for church classrooms and other occasional meeting spaces. Light enough to move quickly to whatever setting you have. Adjusts well, and if loosens, simple to tighten

STURDY AND ATTRACTIVE

This lectern is well-built and attractive. However, it takes some time to assemble. It was made in China, and a couple of the holes did not easily line up with the holes in the bottom of the shelf. Although an allenhead wrench was included in the supplied parts, it took a considerable effort to completely secure two of the screws. The assembled unit looks great, and is quite portable.

Mahogany Lectern #WBB21605

I bought this lectern to read library books standing up rather than sitting down for better health. I'm 75 years old. The only complaint I have with the lectern is that the reading platform is not adjustable. Other than that minor complaint,I'm delighted with it. It's good looking and was easy to assemble.

Excellent Product

Purchased this product for our school, mostly for one taller instructor that needed something to hold textbooks while writing on the board in class. The lectern is built very sturdy and was a lot nicer looking in person than we ever imagined. It extends to a good height too. Fantastic product...and at a price like that it can't be beat!

Easy to Assemble, looks classy

I wanted a lecturn so that I could stand while reading in my office. This was the least expensive one that had good reviews online. ... I am really not exaggerating when I say that assembly could not be easier. The only tool needed is a phillips screwdriver. It took me no more than 10 minutes to put together. It looks great and fits right in with the mahogany furniture in my office. The mahogany is a deep color, the stand is black. The table top is plenty wide for a binder or two 8 1/2 x 11 pages plus room to spare. There are four gliders (one on each foot) so it can be adjusted if it were to wobble (which it does not). The only possible improvement would be to be able to angle the table top, but I would not expect that from a speaker's lecturn. I am a pretty tough critic, but unless this thing now falls apart, which doesn't seem likely, I am very happy with it initially.

Great Bargain!

We bought this as the first pulpit for our small church. It is nice looking and adjustable which makes it a fabulous upgrade from the stool we were using! It's nice and sturdy too. Does not wiggle like many pulpits. I was able to assemble in 5 minutes and it came quickly. Most importantly this was the cheapest lectern/pulpit I could find on the web. Very happy with this product and this vendor. Definitely recommend.
