Have had these for yrs and they are great. We hang cafe lights as well as windchimes on them off our deck.

When I set them up according to the photo, the weight of the hanging baskets caused the poles to lean over even thought I tightened the clamp as much as I dared. I could see that this leaning also put a lot of torsion on the threaded clamp rod. What worked was mounting the clamp from the opposite side of the deck railing and now its solid and secure.

Works for the bird feeder. Now we just need to figure our how to keep the squirrels and chipmunks from climbing the pole and eating everything before the bird get a chance. :-)

Well there very well made . But not the size that was advertised .. but I kept them because of hands bothering me .. and back problems .. I’ll just keep them !! Darn it !! And make them work !!
