Speaker Stands

Nice and sturdy and I love that they are adjustable.

Inadequate

The description mentions that the mount accepts the standard 1/4" 20 tpi screw hole, which is what my Klipsch speakers have, yet none of the included hardware fits that spec. Once you do obtain the proper screw, one must place it through the large speaker wire hole on the bracket because the two other holes only accept the small hardware that was included. The keyhole method is not a solid option at all. My speakers weigh 3 lbs. and these 5 lb. rated stands wobble considerably when extended to seated ear height.. You do not want wobbly speakers. Use these stands for only the cheapest, lightest speakers that will remain low to the ground.

These look great and, for the price, I thought I'd give them a shot. My speakers weigh approximately 4 lbs each so this should work right?

Price point was perfect, all of the other speaker stands were incredibly overpriced.

Great value!

They do what they advertise. They were easy and quick to assemble. Of the three sizes of speaker mounting screws provided, none were the right size for my KLH speakers, but a quick search in my assorted left over screw collection solved the problem. I am pleased with my purchase!

Nearly impossible to assemble correctly

Quality is fine but assembly is near impossible. The small screws used to attach the speaker holders to the adjustable pole are very tiny and have to screw through an even smaller hole. Using a screwdriver will inevitably result in a stripped screw head. I had to drill out the hole slightly and use pliers to turn in the screws.

modified for klipsch quintet surrounds

modified the top of these stands to connect directly to my quintet speakers and they look really slick as surrounds behind the couch.

Garbage

These stands are unstable and don't have the right screws to fit Monoprice speakers. Monoprice is also a garbage company.

You get what you pay for...

The assembly process - in particular the use of very small self tapping screws to hold the speaker bracket to the pole makes putting these together impossible without improvising. You need to screw through 3/8" plastic (pilot hole is much too small) to secure without a vice clamp and an enormous amount of effort with a screwdriver require some improvising. Assembly process aside, the bracket covers do not work in any orientation with my speakers. The first picture shows the condition of the set screw after giving up with the screwdriver and using plyers to tighten it (it almost broke) as well as the fact that the plastic bracket cover restricts access to the speaker outlet (when rotated 180deg the pole covers the outlet). The second picture shows how the plastic bracket cover sticks up above the speaker when positioned horizontally. Finally, the base of the stand is 2 pieces (beauty cover weight) and is also poorly designed.

didn't fit the speakers I ordered

do better at matching stands with speaker sets. these 100% don't fit with the immersive speakers. due to hardware incompatibility / spacing issues. ...also I check ed on this with tech support while I was making the purchase and they assured me they would work.

I really like them, only reason why I give them 4 stars is cause no matter what you get these days, the screws are junk.. Twisted a head off so make sure you don't tight all the way..

Could be better, but

I searched everywhere for adjustable stands for my Minimus 7s and kept seeing these as the only option. Of course Monoprice had the best price with delivery. These stands do get the job done just know these are meant to be set up and left alone. The speaker mount is all plastic instead of metal, and the stand metal is thin.
