50/50 chance defective?

As others have stated in their reviews, my product arrived defective. There must be a problem with the manufacturer. The sliding door did not slide because it was fused to the rest of the plastic pod. The pod that holds the treats is also supposed to come apart in half. There is a seam that indicates this, and I watched a review on YouTube that demonstrates that it is supposed to come apart for easier cleaning. This was also fused together. So the only two parts of Product that are supposed to function did not. I'm stubborn & didn't want the hassle of returning it so I spent well over an hour patiently using every tool I could think of to try to open this thing. I ended up cutting myself pretty bad. That's totally my fault.

Might not be a good fit for spoiled elderly cats

I had high hopes for this feeder, but my fur-baby is too old, spoiled, and set in her ways. Won't engage with it at all.

Not what it seems

My cats ignore it after the 2nd day. The opening for the treats doesn't slide closed completely or easily.

not really working

I’ve been going through the steps to get her to like it but she just isn’t that interested. Maybe it’s too big?

Big Hit

My vet recommended this toy for our youngest cat. We found her outside our house, a feral and sick kitty. We took her in, and it’s a long story, but she hid under the bed for 2 months and we used treats to help her warm up to us. She is very food driven, so it worked, but the result was that she gained a lot of weight. Introducing this toy took some work and patience, but once she caught on it was a big hit. It has helped her to not gobble up her food in record time, and it gives her exercise and stimulates her for quite a bit. The mouse is now thoroughly worn down and it is time to replace it with a new one. I will be ordering another one today.

best cat toy

my cat is never interested in toys but is extremely food motivated so he loves this. this is definitely his favorite toy. i like that you can adjust the size of the opening to make it easier or more difficult for them to get the treat out.

Almost perfect

Our little goblin cat loves it. She's so quick with it, and we'll toss some kibble in it and use it to distract her (for about five minutes) while we're trying to cook. The exterior can be done a little bit better. It's so loose and I'm concerned about her ripping the elastic 'tails' out and eating them, and I can predict the name screen printed on it is going to rub or peel off.

Cute but doesn't work

We bought nine treat/food, Doc & Phoebe's the hunting snackers kitty toy! The door slide for putting, and the kitties getting, the treats out does not slide. Read other reviews that said the same thing about the door slide; also read other reviews that said they are great. I took a chance on we would receive a good batch that the treats door would move but they do not! I am returning them and will look for other kitty treats/ food dispenser.

The outer covering keeps falling off. Good product, but my cats could care less. They don't want to work for snacks lol

Best feeding puzzle for cat

My cats love their feeding mice. They wait all day for me to fill them up with their dry food for the evening

My cats love it!

The only thing is the “tail” or that blue string came off really fast but I was able to get it before the ate it.

INSTANT PREDATOR

We have a young adult kitty that was found in a dumpster and is highly food motivated. This toy is an instant hit! Continues to engage even after the food is all gone. We highly recommend this for cats who love their kibble/treats. I feel it's very important to engage our pets minds and this does so in a natural rewarding way.

Don't buy it

Shoddy quality. Broke immediately. Was late arriving and then definitely not worth the money.

Sort of Effective?

One cat caught on immediately that she could wiggle treats out of the mouse, and the other cat learned that she could wait for the first cat to dispense treats and then steal them. Said second cat also immediately broke off one of the elastic "tails" within minutes of the mouse being hidden for her to hunt. If it weren't for my concerns for her eating all of the elastic, these mice might've made for good foraging toys.

I wish I could just buy the outer layer

The cats tear these up. To replace, I need to also buys the plastic pieces which seems wasteful.
