Solid wood

Love that this is solid wood. Easy to assemble. Smoothly sanded so minimal prep for paint or stain. Only problem is, they shorted me 2 screws.

Nice wooden small bookcase

Sturdy, all-wood, can paint, paper (I put a beautiful peel and stick on the bottom). I use mine for a kitchen cabinet substitute!

Great for your creative touch! Solidly built

Easy to put together and solidly built. I had fun with some metallic gold paint and spray painted it after I put it together. It is PERFECT as a little side shelf in my bathroom. Holds baskets of towels, soaps, lotions, shampoo, etc. Just lovely

Unfinished book shelves

Love my new bookshelves. I was having trouble finding the height and length I needed. This one fit the bill but came unfinished which meant more work for me. In the end I liked how they looked finished. I applied a very light whitewash with a clear finish poly to protect it from stains .Happy with my purchase!

This is exactly what I needed to make my room perfect. The size is nice and it can now finish as I need to match my decor. It is so nice to see good quality in unfinished furniture still available.

Great small bookcase made from actual wood, not MDF! Easily put together. This is a very sturdy bookcase and a very good deal for the money.

This shelf was very easy to assemble, and only took around 10 minutes or so. The quality is good, but I’d recommend touching it up with some high grit sandpaper if you plan to paint/stain it. Due to its height and lack of depth, I highly recommend anchoring it if children are around. Overall I would recommend it.

The wood is beautiful. Very strong and smooth. (Don’t be turned away by it being ‘parawood’. ‘para’ does not mean ‘fake’. Parawood is a southeast asia wood.)I bought 2. Assembly was easy. One went together well. I had to return the other because one set of holes was drilled just a tad off. I would buy another.

Great price and value

Fairly easy to put together. The unstained look was perfect just as it came for our purposes. Only issue was that the 2 middle shelves don't come pre-drilled for the bracket screws provided. But after we put these together, we realized that for us (child-free home with heavy books/items stored on shelves), securing the middle shelves with the screws from underneath was not a necessity.

I have purchased a similar shelving unit before. I wish this was a little wider.... other than that, it is solid wood and you can stain it, paint it or whatever you want. Your imagination makes this yours.

This little bookshelf works so great for our daughter's nursery! It is perfect as a side table next to our glider and has just enough room on top for a small lamp and a few special frames and nick nacks. It is very sturdy and was easy to put together. I would definitely recommend it.

I have had this shelf for roughly two years now housing my vast collection of cookbooks. I love the unfinished wood. It is sturdy for the most part, but I had to buy larger shelf holder pegs at the hardware store because the ones that came with it kept falling out of the pre-drilled holes.

This book shelf is great. I love all International Concepts products. The rubber wood is a hard wood with a great grain pattern that takes stain well. I love that they offer unfinished furniture as I am able to custom stain it to suit my tastes. The shelf is sturdy and I expect it will hold up longer than I'll be around to witness. If you are looking for a bookshelf in this style I wouldn't to buy it and put your signature on it.
