I bought these benches for my greenhouse. Because they come unassembled, we were able to assemble them to fit my space perfectly. We even took one each, covered the top in copper and made a wet bench. In addition, one of the benches got a farmhouse copper sink with a faucet and soap dispenser. I am readying myself for spring - still waiting for electricity, thus no growing yet because I live in Rhode Island!

Very sturdy solid wood piece! Good size and comes to my waste (I am 5’8”). Larger than I thought but that was perfectly fine. It was too nice to put outside, so I switched it with my front porch table.

This pitting bench is outstanding! Easily put together and the wood is beautiful. Super sturdy.

Looks great!! Looks exactly like the product photos. Great quality, solid wood. However, you must be a skilled builder and have additional tools. The holes don’t all match up and required sanding edges of some pieces and clamps, so they fit together in right angles. Took 2 days to complete assembly, but finished with a beautiful strong bench.

The table is beautiful, sturdy and heavy to boot. I absolutely love it, it's upgraded my garden area!

Looks and Feels Great! Tricky Assembly

This is a nice looking bench with smooth wood that feels like quality. My frustration is with the assembly. The instructions could use a bit more narrative in addition to the pictures. Two of the boards were warped, leaving a bit of strain on very narrow wood screws. There is a half inch gap between two boards after tightening a screw because of warpage. I hope they don't pull out as it sits in the elements. My other issue is there were a few pre-drilled holes that did not align with screws coming through previously assemble pieces. I had to drill a few additional starter holes to make the connection. If you're not a little "handy" this could present problems. We'll see. It does look great sitting on my patio!

Very heavy, durable, & well/constructed. Looks beautiful in my yard. Will see how it does over the winter.

Well design potting bench. Very easy to assemble. Very sturdy.

Nice table, but not fun assembling

We had some of the same challenges that others had with holes not lining up and having to redrill to make things fit. Also had to add a few screws to the tabletop supports where the brad nails came loose. All in all, a very nice table that we'll get lots of use out of. Backyard Discovery just needs to up the quality control system a bit to make sure that everything lines up properly.

Very nice but warped here and there

This is not Ikea level assembly… be sure to set aside half a day. Many holes not properly pre-drilled and lots of differently sized hardware. One of the threaded inserts pulled out and I had to disassemble the legs to glue it back in place. Had to disassemble the leg cross braces several times for alignment reasons.

Beautiful and excellent potting table!

I am really enjoying the potting table! So glad I ordered it. Gave it 4 stars b/c it was really difficult for my husband and I to assemble. We are in our 70's and not so good w/tools. Directions were not the most helpful and we needed to redrill many of the holes.We did get the job done eventually and are so glad we did, its a beauty!

Assembly is challenging. Table is perfect though.

Received this potting table in a timely manner. Lots of parts. Takes 2 people to put together. It is very sturdy and heavy. Directions not real clear- mostly pictures to refer to. The special wrench they provided was not sufficient. I love the wood and how it looks though!

Finished results…Red Oak stain and three coats of polyurethane finish. Left the stain on for 15 minutes then wiped it off.

The Happy Gardener

I bought this for my Mom for Mother's day. We are so happy with it. It's very sturdy! Don't be fooled by other potting benches that are made with fir wood and only 25 lbs. They won't last. This bench is made of heavy acacia wood weighing 80 lbs. I highly recommend not only for a potting bench but a beautiful serving table for your patio.

Beautiful ourdoor potting table. Bought for my daughter for Christmas and now I want one too!

Nice product but…

The product is nice when assembled. A few problems with assembly due to warping of the acacia wood so have some clamps handy. Also, the screws for assembling the back shelf are oversized and the pilot holes are too small for the thickness of the wood causing splitting especially near the ends of boards. If you know this ahead of time you can drill larger pilots and use slightly smaller screws of your own and avoid the problem.

Very good quality. It was packed impeccably. It was a breeze to assemble because the instructions were easy to follow and everything was clearly labeled to aid in assembly.
