Cheap knockoff of their original work bench

I bought a second bench a couple of months ago because the first bench I bought in 2018 is perfect for my needs. Like many others I received my bench damaged but I was able to repair and assemble it without any noticeable blemishes. My low rating stems from the fact that Gladiator has changed specifications in 2019 and the new benches are cheaply made. The metal legs are of a thinner material with spot welds on the cross

Damage in delivery

I had this workbench delivered direct to my home. Delivery guys dropped off on front sidewalk, signed for me, rang my doorbell, and left immediately. I walked out as they were driving away and refused to stop. The box showed damage and under the damage a gauge on wood top. Now I have 150lb/8 ft box that I waited several weeks for that I have to tape up the packaging and return and start all over again with another product.

I own another Gladiator bench and needed one for another location. BB&B offered free shipping on this and I also used a coupon. I couldn't find this bench at a lower price. The quality of the bench hasn't changed since my last bench purchase many years ago.

I was concerned about damage being done to the table top during shipping, as noted by other customers. Luckily only a miner abrasion occurred on the edge of the top. Packaging should be improved to fix this issue. Proper packaging isn’t rocket science!! The work bench is in place and performing as advertised. Great product!!

Have never been disappointed with a Gladiator product!!

This worktable was everything I expected. It was very easy to assemble. The legs were completely assembled just neded to be adjusted to my desired height. The back panel was easy to install and the top was, well heavy but that's what I expected. It took no time to assemble and place this table. I have been purchasing and using Gladiator garage gear for 15 years and will continue to purchase more as the need arises. I expect that this table will outlast me. Gladiator Products, thanks for a great product line!!!

Workbench is sweet! I put a metal filing cabinet below it, and a peg board and large power strip above it and it looks awesome in my garage and works exactly as needed. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a practical and height adjustable bench.

The table itself is great but fedex destroyed the table top. Upon delivery they dropped it in front of my house and left it there. I have it on video camera and could hear all the parts rattle from the inside of my house. I under stand the table is heavy but come on. There was also a massive scratch on the top of the bench from the shipping not sure why they don’t package the bottom of the bench top towards the outside of the box so that if a scratch happens at least you wouldn’t see it. Overall the bench itself is great, study and great to look at. Heavy and relatively easy to set up with help

Update on bent leg set: Gladiator made it right!

Since there was no way to edit my previous review (under MB88), I'm adding a new review. An email to Gladiator resulted in a new leg set being shipped to me. I just finished installing it, and it's a rock-solid bench. I did discover a dent in the top surface of the wood. But, I'm going to do much worse things to it over the years, I'm sure. Thanks for the great customer service, Gladiator!

Top cross-brace of leg set is BENT.

I just opened my online order, which arrived today. They left it in the driveway rather than drop it off at the door under cover as promised. The box had black boot prints all over it.

I just opened the box, which arrived today from Home Depot.

Damaged Item with no compensation.

Not happy with Gladiator as they did not offer any compensation when I received this item damaged, even though there was no physical damage to the box. As I did not open the item until several months later due to the house was still under construction when I received this item, Gladiator did not make an exception. Therefore, I have 2-inch gouges on top of the table and a dent on the corner, all direct from the factory.

great product but can't really be extended all the way up because the metal in the legs bends when tightening the thumbscrew when it's extended to the the last few notches. that said it is otherwise sturdy and stable. very good product in general.

Excellent small crafts table or work table

The table is quite sturdy and fits well in my small crafts room. The wood finish and the white legs are very nice. The table was very easy to put together and adjust for correct height.

Quality workbench

A colleague had purchased one for gunsmithing work so i had chance to see the product before purchasing. The order, delivery and packaging was great. Assembly was easy, less than 30 mins. I added a 5” vise to one side. Drilling the mounting holes straight forward snd did effect the finish. Several weeks later still very happy and would recomend to others.

Damaged

I’ve had MANY gladiator products over the past 15 years in my garage and now new work shop with great satisfaction. This particular order showed up with a damaged top. I contacted gladiator and they immediately sent another work bench. Incredibly strong bench.

In my search for a work bench, I narrowed my choices down to this unit, and the similar Husky one. In comparing specs, the Gladiator top was 1" wider than the Husky, so that's the way I went, as they seemed very comparable otherwise.
