Good deal for the price!

For the price this is a great deal. Put together easily and feels quite sturdy. In hindsight I'd love one that can be raised and lowered, and the stool is a little wobbly, but overall this feels like a solid purchase. Fits small spaces and is fairly nice looking too. I recommend! #sweepstakes

A good basic unit that doesn't take up a lot of space. It was a tossup between this and the one in the same brand with the cloth drawers, but I felt the cloth drawers would not hold up well. (We will get another set of white drawers to go with this, so he has more organized storage for his artwork and supplies.) I like that it's on casters and he can easily move it around his room. It was a good value for the price. He and his dad assembled it without too much difficulty, they said.

Great Purchase

I bought this to do Diamond Painting on as I do the big ones. This works great so you are not bent over straining your neck when you work on it for long a long time.

Waiting for customer service

I'll start with assembly because I put the table together in less than two hours, which is pretty good considering all of the parts and screws involved. Although there are no written instructions the diagrams are easy to follow and the parts are all numbered. When I got to the stool assembly, everything went smoothly until the very last step, attaching the last leg to the circular support. The leg lined up an inch and a half away from where it needed to attach. Studio Designs advises you to call their customer service department with any problems, which I did. I got a cheery voice message that said they would call me back "right away". That was two days ago. Yesterday I went through their website and ordered a new leg, explaining that the original was faulty. So far there has been no acknowledgment of my order, so I can only hope someone at Studio Designs will pick up the ball on their end.

Happy with this table

This may not be the fanciest crafting/drawing table, but for the price (especially since it was on sale), it works fine for my needs and I'm satisfied. I was able to put it together myself with only a little difficulty...the lifting hardware was a little tricky to place and the trays didn't want to go on at first, but I eventually figured it all out. So far, I've only used it as a drawing table, but I hope to also be able to use it for watercolor painting. I like that the table can be at an angle for drawing-there are several notches on the lifting hardware to choose the height you prefer. The trays are my least favorite part of the set, and I may eventually just remove them and use a rolling cart or smaller table next to this table to hold the supplies I'm using. My hubby purchased a lamp for me so I can work at the table at night too. Ultimately, I'm happy with my purchase and would buy it again.

Nice looking piece of furniture

Solid, sturdy, and easy to assemble... I was mostly satisfied originally. There were a pair of tiny dings on the board top. I contacted Overstock, asking if they could either send me a new top or give me a minor discount. They asked for pics and within 24 hours shipped me an entirely new unit. That was way more than necessary. Their customer support was impressive... The new piece is assembled and perfect. The slightly dinged original was donated to a student who is quite grateful. Nice company.

The desk is fine but the stool was defective

Studio design desk serves it’s purpose

It’s easy enough to put together and while not the highest quality furniture, it is sturdy and totally serves the purpose for my 17 year old artist.

we bought this for our grandson, we had it delivered to his house we have not seen it yet, but he is very happy with it. he had no problems putting it together and is happy that it has wheels and a stool, he likes that it has a pencil holder and it lays down flat.
