Look for the pilot holes!

If only we had looked carefully at the table top and bottom! We assumed the rulers were installed correctly and proceeded to put the unit together with the ruler markings as the top. The instructions never mention pilot holes for the screws so we had to guess based on the drawings. It was a nightmare. Then after the table was put together we noticed the tiny, tiny pilot holes on the top of the table. It turns out that the rulers were not only installed upside down, they were also backwards, which is why it was impossible to put the pencil tray on the table. So we dismantled the entire unit and put it together using the pilot holes as guides, turned the rulers right side up and switched them from top to bottom which is important because the pencil holder needs the metal inserts to hold the screws. They had put the plastic corners which should have been on the top on the bottom where the heavy duty pencil holder should have a bolt. It’s together and works properly now but unfortunately the top is full of holes from the screws that we installed thinking that the top was the bottom! This could have been avoided if the instructions asked us to follow pilot holes, then we would have discovered the problem before we spent so much time trying to figure out how to put this thing together. I haven’t heard back from the company yet.

DO NOT BUY!!!

Inadequately packaged (too heavy for the cardboard box), arrived with 2 key parts missing. Worse yet, this unit is dangerously easy to tip over once assembled. Do not buy this, especially if you have children who could be hurt if it tipped over.

Good quality for the price.

Great for what I needed. Do like the fact it's a drafting table. Bought it for a make shift machine table when I have to many students.

Horrible instructions / Product damage

Purchased this for my wife. Came in on time and what I thought was in good condition, no damage to the box at least. Opened it up to put it together and found the assembly instructions. A photo copy of a copy of a copy ad infinitum and the copy was not to original size but about 15% to small. I had to ask my wife to loan me her magnifier reading glasses to see part number call outs and I have 20 / 10 vision. Parts bags were mislabeled or missing and to make matters even worse the scale numbers on the table top and bottom were warn off. The top was packaged loose and rubbed the numbers off in shipping. There are no operation instructions but fortunately its easy to figure out. If you are going to purchase this item try to buy it at the store or ship it to the store and inspect it first or beware.

Very sturdy - much more than any other tables even in higher price ranges.

Easy to assemble. Good size. But needs something to keep plans From sliding off when lifting higher-up.

Great Drafting Table!!

This is a great desk option. I was looking for something higher, so I wasn't sitting low to the ground all day. It's affordable and very sturdy. User error, be sure not to reverse the legs, like I did. It still functions just fine, but I installed the perforations on the wrong side and can't attach the hook that that comes with it.

Ok for the money

This table is pretty much what you should expect for the price. Once assembled, it seems sturdy and good looking enough. There are a couple points that keep me from calling this a great value. 1. The instructions are terrible. They look like they came out of a bad fax machine and then were shrunk down to microscopic size. I had to redo a couple of assembly steps because I couldn't make out important details. 2. The handling was terrible. There was a ding in the edge of the surface and a bent shelf right out of the box. 3. The top surface has ajustable tilt but there is no ledge at the bottom to hold your papers from sliding off. Overall though, worth the price.

I ordered this product and it arrived damaged and missing parts. I called Zoro customer care and they apologized and gave me an immediate refund. They told me to throw out the item as they did not want it back. I really appreciated how efficiently and quickly they handled the problem.

this so called Professional drafting table is junk, both adjustment latches broke and slammed down on base support, this table is not safe to use. I had to fix this with a 2X4 because latches are to dangerous to depend on. I do not recommend this Professional table. AMB
