This lamp is pretty nice for my eclectic decor.. It seems cool and trendy, yet at the same time classic. It gives off a good amount of light. It was very easy to put together. I have only had it for a short while so I do not know how durable it is, but its seems like it will last a good while. I never had a lamp with a floor switch, so hopefully that will last.
The lamp is an attractive addition to my bedroom. The quality is great, and it was shipped to me on time. The one drawback is the way one turns the lamp on and off. There is no on/off switch near the light bulb. The off/on switch is on the floor, attached to the cord. I find this to be inconvenient. I have the lamp next to my bed, and I would have to reach down to the floor to turn the lamp on and off if I did not hang the cord on the screw that allows the lamp to be moved up and down. I was disappointed at this development, but the lamp gives good light. . Satisfied customer

This light stands next to my club chair in my reading corner. What I love about it is the ease of adjusting the lamp to my comfort reading level. The base stand has some weight to it. I love the design which gives it vintage character.
