I did a lot of research for a quality and easy to use Mandoline slicer. I found it. This is it.

Bad

Super sharp blades and that's it. The mechanism to select the width of your slices doesn't have a locking feature, so it moves as you're slicing away. I find this gadget useless and I would return but I threw away all the packaging already.

Oxo mandolin

I always get nervous w mandolins but felt oxo would be a bit safer.

Never had a mandolin although I’ve used one, so thought I’d buy this one.

Handy for salads and veg-based meals

Incredibly sharp and slices beautifully. The 'holder' saves any potential slicing mishaps but is made of plastic so doesn't hold things like carrots very firmly.

Space saving

Love this handheld mandolin, easy to find room for in the cupboard and 3 different thicknesses. Great guard to watch your fingers too!

Lifetime guarantee...NOT

I purchased in November 2022; however, I found the blade to be a bit dull this year. I called up JL, who seemed bewildered about how to handle my request for a new one. Eventually, one rep told me to take a picture of myself holding the mandolin, and email it to JL. Are you having a laugh!?!

Fantastic mandoline

The October mandoline is sturdy, safe and has 3 settings for adjustable slice width. No fear of cutting fingers with the solid plastic pusher/holder that enables you to slice those last few bits of veg!

Very portable and handy to use. At first it was a little difficult to work out how the thicknesses can be achieved. Once worked out - then all good.

So easy and speedy to use

I was surprised how effective this product was, though it's only used a couple of time yet. However, time and use remains to be seen just how useful and worthy this mandolin is as a kitchen tool.

Robust mandoline

This is our second OXO Good Grips Hand Held Mandoline Slicer. Our first one has lasted over 10 years and finally needed replacing. We had no hesitation with replacing with the exact same product.

Great kitchen addition

Product looks good …bought as a gift so afraid I can’t confirm how good it is as it hasn’t been received yet. However I don’t expect any problems and hopefully no missing fingers !

The best on the market

Once again M&S get it so right. Thanks s mandolin is small enough not to be a space problem but efficient to provide you with all your slicing needs. The safety holder is really good in that it is ergonomically perfect for the job.

A safe way for me to prepare my potatoes.

This mandoline slicer is brilliant for slicing vegetables really thinly without removing a finger in the process!😄. Really great for making potato dauphinoise and lovely potatoes on top of a casserole.

A cooks must have!

I love this mandoline, I have a larger version that I rarely use as it's so bulky, this is used almost daily! Sits neatly in the kitchen drawer, is so quick to slice evenly sized slices (and 3 width choices) I wish i'd had this sooner! The safety sleeve and safety handle means it's safe to use and store, love it!

Useful piece of food prep equipment

As with most of the OXO range, it is good quality and efficient. Made prep of my potatoes dauphinoise easy today. With hindsight, perhaps I should have gone for the larger model.
