Well, it's pretty shiny, so that's nice. But it doesn't fall positively into place inside the drain hole. Quite wonky, really. So, when you drop the stopper so that your sink will hold water...it won't. I have had many strainers over the years (with the same sink) and this is the first time one hasn't fit, otherwise I might blame the sink. Also, the stopper is primarily metal and quite shallow, with a narrow strip of rubber at the top, so a tight seal is pretty much out of the question.

This sink trap is very useful to prevent water/solids from going down the drain and the rubber part does create a good seal but I don't like the plastic tube/stick in the middle, it makes the product feel cheap and I'm afraid it will break easily.

Low price and acceptable...

Has a rubber not hard plastic stopper. Will fit basket imperfections and not leak like hard plastic will.

It is not as heavy as the original strainer that I had in the sink but it certainly seems to do the job well.

The stopper part isn't very pliable, would not keep water in the sink. Strains like a champ, though. Feels cheap, very thin metal.

Almost a good replacement. It fits properly but does not drain because the post stopper does not stay in the open position. The dimples on the post are too small.
