lamps arejust what i needed only drawback is the bottoms are to light they wobble an arent as sturdy as they should be but i need another on

Only 4 stars because 1 lamp has an almost stripped thread so we have to "fix" it so it doesn't lean. Other 1 is perfect. Amount of light is exactly what we were looking for and they look great.

Easy to assemble and great working lamp. I especially love the smaller lamp attachment for reading and drawing.

Unstable, poor quality

Assembled lamp and base screw in point immediately stripped with light turning. Lamp does not stand straight and is very unstable. Electronics work as expected, but I've had to secure the lamp to a table leg to have it stand straight.

Then there was light

Very functional and certainly lights up a room The reading light is perfect for sitting ins chair in any position and getting the best reading light.

Liked it and bought a second one.

We got this lamp for my wife's sewing area because I bought the same lamp last year for my office and liked it so much. The adjustable part comes in handy.

I would buy this product (or one just like it) again.

What a great light! It was practically put together for me, and I appreciate that more than anything else. Once I plugged it fit right into the space I had for it and its towering presence is just what I wanted. Polished, easy to clean and great illumination, I would consider purchasing another very soon.

Good for the price but plastic a little flimsy

I like the product. Simple and serve its purpose as a lamp. It is easy to assemble. Only thing I do not like is that the plastic is a little flimsy.

I just needed something simple for a bedroom. The pole where the pieces go together broke during assembly - not so much that it can't be used but just enough that it doesn't stand perfectly straight. But it works well enough, and it was inexpensive.

This came unassembled but was easy enough to put together in 15 min. Light is perfect for dark area to lighten up room and reading light is perfect for when you don't have desk to put a lamp on. It's exactly what I needed.

They dis assembled it wrong........when I went to re-assemble this lamp . I could not get it back together in a workable light ,the wiring would not go back in Lamp right . THEY SHOULD NOT TAKE OFF TOP BASE OF LAMP ,,,,, THE WIRING WILL NOT GO BACK IN TOP POLE !

It's absolutely worth the money

It arrived pretty quick, and well packaged. Everything you need is in the box. One drawback for me. The shafts are very thin. The reading light can be bent in any direction. Feels well made.

I was so disappointed in this lamp. It looks bad and the bulbs are pricey. It went back in the box shoved in the basement. This item. I have called in about this to no avail. I may never order again!

Very decorative

It was easy to assemble and was great. Weighted base helped to stabilize pole. The only issue I have, is that the top light is very high and being disabled it is hard to turn on and off. I would recommend it to anyone.

Floor lamp does not come assembled

Despite what it says in the specs, this product does, in fact, require assembly. I'm in a wheelchair, and I purchased this lamp specifically because it said that no assembly was required. It would probably be easier for someone with more mobility, but it was quite difficult for me to get the excess wire pulled down through the base, as the pole was assembled. I'm also wondering how the black cord closer to the plug got so much white paint on it. I do like how the white shade color lets the brightness of the light shine through.

Great lamp to provide both ambient and task lighting. Lights up my living room perfectly while still giving me more light for when I am reading. Some might not like the plastic lamp shades, but for someone who has broken three glass lamp shades, the plastic ones are now preferred for my family's safety. Sturdy foundation...another great feature for people who constantly knock over their lamps.

Suitable and Sufficient

This floor lamp was just what I needed for my home office. It was easy to put together. The plastic lenses seem a bit chintzy when unpacked but they had no chance to get broken in shipment like glass might have. It's decent quality, okay style. I did not purchase it for style but for substance and it surely fits the bill.

Simple Designs LF2000-SLV Floor Lamp

I work from my home, and just recently moved. I had built in lighting at my former place, so I have been in need of a lamp since I arrived. I purchased one prior to this this by Offlamp, and the lighting said "outside" which I thought would make everything bright and clear. However, it \does not brighten up the room, only the spot where you have it aimed. The Simple Designs lamp I am reviewing here has resolved all of my issues. The upper part of the lamp brightens the entire room, thus allowing other people to work in my office at the same time, and to move around anywhere in the room to access files, etc. The lower lamp on the unit can be adjusted to focus on brightening up one area, which is very helpful with certain projects. This product has supplied the exact needs I was looking for. I recommend it to everyone!
