LUXURY floor LAMP

This has been a pleasant surprise and a WONDERFUL experience to use. It's as if I am experiencing a futuristic floor lamp. The way this is built, makes it so versatile. You can move it this way and twist it that way until you get it just right depending on your needs. You can utilize it with an easel as described. It has a modern, aesthetic design to it that draws you towards it. The color is as depicted and matches well with all décor. It's not TOO heavy but, it does have weight to it due to the quality build. I don't find it difficult to move to a different location when necessary but, if you're frail I recommend you seek help when moving its location. The brightest of the light is wonderful and can be manipulated to focus on a specific location or area. The touch settings are easy to adjust and appear aesthetically modern. All in all, the value is there and I am SUPER happy with it. I would say, if you can manage the numbers on the tag, it's a MUST HAVE. I HIGHLY recommend.

I had very high expectations and they were surprisingly met

I knew Honeywell made lamps, but I didn't know they made lamps this extravagant, I wasn't sure what to expect, but for the listing price my expectations were set very high.Once I opened it and started to use it my expectations were surprisingly met, starting from opening the box I was greeted with the entire thing being wrapped in some sort of soft fabric sock, maybe cotton? either way from an unboxing experience it is very lavish looking, especially with the included cotton gloves also included.Once I had it all out I noticed the build and material quality is rather amazing, the base plate is hilariously heavy, the pole not only has a tightening screw but also a retention screw so it doesn't loosen, that's a great attention to detail.The chrome ring is so shiny that it reflected the sun onto my wall while I was assembling it which my cats were chasing, the hinges to bend the lamp don't have any adjustments but are somehow easy to move yet firm enough that they won't budge otherwise, I'm not sure exactly how that was achieved but I absolutely love it.The light and it's controls are also rather amazing, I used several different exposure methods to see if I could catch any flicker when turning it on and off or adjusting the brightness, but I was not able to catch any whatsoever.The colour temperatures are also pretty great, I personally an mainly using this as a reading light so I'm keeping it on the warmer one, but while reading I noticed my eyes don't strain as much as they did with just the room light, I usually have to put the book down after an hour or so but I was able to get 5 hours straight of reading done and I didn't get a headache.Overall the price is pretty high for most people, but I do believe this lamp is actually worth the listing price and I would gladly give it a glowing recommendation

Very nice quality and durability

The Honeywell Sunturalux LED floor lamp could be a nice addition to many living rooms or home offices. The modern design is sleek and fits well with contemporary decor. The brightness is good and provides good illumination with close to natural daylight that's perfect for reading or working without straining the eyes. My mother really likes the light spectrum that this lamp emits, but I personally prefer higher spectrum of 7000K+ - different people, different perceptions :). The dimmable feature is great and allows me to adjust the lighting to suit different tasks. However, I can't give it 5 stars because of its energy efficiency, which is class F - for such price, it should be minimum class A. You can directly feel the fine build quality and the materials used in making the whole thing - it's pretty heavy and all arms connectors move smoothly and silently. The lamp comes in a pretty big sturdy carton box, which keeps everything safe during transport and the included instructions are clear and easy to understand. Very nice floor lamp.

Great quality but overpriced

I've been using the Honeywell LED Floor Lamp, and it's been great for reading and working in the evening. The light is bright but soft on the eyes, which makes it easy to focus without straining. I like that I can adjust the brightness and color temperature depending on what I'm doing, whether it's reading or sketching. However, for the price, I expected a bit more - it feels a bit overpriced and doesn't quite offer the value for money I was hoping for.

Expensive but worth it.

This is not for everybody but for those that want the best and can afford it, this lamp is worth it. I have other Honeywell lamp with the same type of LED and the lights is significantly easier on the eyes. With this lamp my eyes don't feel as tired after a day of work.This lamp is very specialized so it has very few lighting options. The lamp can dim (by holding down the power button), it has a delay shut off (by double tapping the power button) and it has two color temperature. In reading mode the light is at 4000K and in work mode it's at 5000k. There is nothing moreBuild quality is exceptional. The base is a single metal piece which weight around 20lb. The rest of the support is in metal and the lamp is in plastic. The plastic lamp is fine since it's better to make it as light as possible. This way, it's easier to move it around. The lamp center of gravity is very low so there is no chance this lamp will get knocked over.Assembly is super easy, there is just 3 part that need to be put together and it's very self explanatory.Over all, it's very worth it even at it's high price. maintaining good eye health is important.

Amazing versatile lamp

Excellent lamp, easily the best one I've had in years

This lamp is wonderful; if I could give more stars, I would. After years of products being made progressively cheaper and weaker while increasing in price, this lamp is a breath of fresh air. The build quality is great - screws go in where they should effortlessly, with no force required or metal shavings coming out of holes. The base appears to be solid metal, no crumbly concrete or sand to spill. The post screws in and is locked in place solidly - it won't be unscrewed by rotating it during regular use. The hinges have just enough force to hold the light in any position without "sticking" or slowly falling down. The light is bright and even, and the coating on the entire lamp is of good quality (no cheap chipping paint). The light fades in and out smoothly without any perceived "stepping" of brightness. It also remembers what brightness setting you used last on both modes, so they can be individually adjusted. Overall, incredibly satisfied with this lamp, and highly recommended. My one wish is that the buttons were tactile instead of touch-based, but, can't have everything, I guess.

The gross weight given on the side of the box was 13.5 kg (29.8 lbs) and the net weight is 8.5 kg (18.7 lbs). The net weight is the amount of the actual light and the other 5 kg (11 lbs) is the packing material!I was surprised when I opened the large brown box to find a Red & White Honeywell box inside it, just a little smaller. The dimensions of the red box are 28.5" wide x 23" high x 5 5/8" deep (72.3 cm x 58.5 cm x 13.5 cm). Inside the red Honeywell box were 3 more boxes. One contained the lamp post and the other two were more packing material.Each piece of the light was wrapped in a protective sock-like cover. The pieces include the base, the lower pole, the top pole, gloves in a bag with the small locking screw in a smaller zippered bag inside, and the AC plug. The user manual was inside an envelope.To put together, start at the base. The lower pole goes into the base and then the locking screw underneath holds it tight. The top pole then goes on and the small locking screw holds it in place. The pole has to be pushed down all the way for the screw to go in properly. The cord comes out from the top pole and there is a velcro strap around it and also hook on the bottom pole to hold it in place. The cord goes about 70" (178 cm) out from the base of the light.This light is made with special 216 Sunturalux full-spectrum LED eye-friendly lamp beads, providing the closest light effect to natural light. The lamp has been verified by four certifications to have no blue light, glare or flicker, and meet or exceed international lighting standards.There is a touch panel on the pole with 3 buttons. The top one is power on/off. Long-press this button for brightness adjustment (5%-100%), or double-click for delayed light-off function. The delay will adjust the light to 5% brightness then automatically turn off after 30 seconds. This allows you time to leave the room before it turns off. I could find that annoying if it was louder and there doesn't seem to be a way of turning the sound off.The lamp is made from high strength aluminum alloy and iron, with a total weight of 18.74 lbs. The base itself I weighed to be 6.2 kg (13.7 lbs) so the rest of the light is just 5 lbs. This base is much heavier than bases of all my other lights. Be careful moving this light as it could result in a back injury!The adapter output is 24 volts DC/ 1.5 amps and the rated power is 28 watts. There are 216 LED beads with a maximum of 1500 LM.The light was a lot shorter than I was expecting, and an odd shape. The light can't go straight up, and the top with the LEDs can't pivot up to the ceiling. It has adjustments but not to put the light where I want it. It seems to be more of a reading light to go over a chair. The base of the light is about 12.5" (31.8 cm) in diameter. The lower two poles (including the base and touch panel) are about 42" (107 cm) from the ground. There is then an elbow with some movement. If this one is straight, then the next elbow is about 52" (132 cm) from the ground. The next pole is about 12 1/2" (32 cm) from the 2nd elbow and holds the light with the LEDs, which is about 21 1/2" long x 2 3/4" wide (54.5 cm x 7 cm).I'm not sure what to think of this light. I was going to use it in the living room for natural daylight but it isn't able to aim toward the ceiling like other lights I have. The light is nice and has two temperatures to chose from, plus brightness control. I was expecting a remote as most other lights have, especially at the price of this one. I think the shape of this is more for reading, writing, and painting, rather than for just lighting up the room.

Amazing LED lamp for color rendition for painting and crafting, very versatile and poseable

Ok, let me start by saying at this price range, this LED Floor Lamp from Honeywell is not for everyone. If you're simply looking for a bright task floor lamp or if you're on a budget, there are likely others that will do the job at a much lower price point. However, if price is not an issue, or if you need to do work in which true color rendition is required, then this LED floor lamp from Honeywell is amazing. Very sturdy metal design that is very versatile, multi-axis poseable, and has a heavy base so the lamp does not tip over. The LED light can be dimmed, but is in natural “sunlight” spectrums (4000K, 5000K) only, so for those wanting warm white light (3000K), this lamp will not work for you.Personally I got this lamp to use for painting and crafting. It gives good daylight color rendition for painting, and for all my long hours of table crafting, the light is easy on my eyes and can be placed in so many different positions, depending on what I am working on.Although I originally got this for painting/crafting, I have found that the “reading” mode works really well. I used to get headaches when surfing on my phone or watching movies/videos on my tablet, but now, with this lamp, my eyes are not as tired and no more headaches. I will assume that is due to the anti-glare, anti-blue light, non-strobbing properties of this lamp. Regardless of how or why…I love it. I now keep the lamp placed next to my recliner for daily use and move it to my paint/crafting room when needed. I can imagine there are many other professional uses too, like for photography, design studio etc.Overall this is a great super well-bulit lamp that is made with high quality metal and very well designed for versatility in movement/placment. The light gives natural “sunlight” color rendition and is easy on the eyes, even after long hours of usage. Perfect for so many uses, from professional to home use even simply as a reading lamp. I don't see any cons with this lamp other than its higher price point, but you are getting what you're paying for here. If you can afford this lamp, then yes, get it. You'll love it.

Excellent lighting option

I didn't understand why the this floor lamp was so expensive but after having used it for a couple of weeks, it's obvious to me that this is far superior to most lighting in my home.This arrived very well packaged and even included a set of white gloves. Assembling took very little time and just involved attaching the light to the base and using set screws. The base is very heavy and has a large enough footprint that this won't accidentally fall over.After assembly this gives lots of options as far as angling the light in the way it's needed. It's simple to adjust and stays put.The actual light is really great quality. It's easy on the eyes and it has a slightly warmer setting for reading and writing and another setting that's more neutral for painting or drawing. There's no flickering and I notice less eye strain overall.I think this light also looks pretty good and I think it would also be a good fit for an office or studio. It's a great product.

GREAT TASK STATION LIGHTING!

This is a fantastic floor lamp. Having the ability to tune the light, the angles in many ways is fantastic (currently deployed as a lighting solution to my soldering station for electronics).My whole station is now so very well lit that I am not worried about setting up my light. I just fire it up, and its easy on my eyes. I can focus on the task station without concern or shadows which is huge for electronics fixing and design for circuits.I am very pleased as Honeywell knocks this one out of the park!

I had my doubts, but this is a great light with a purpose.

I work in a field where colour accuracy is important. As a result I have a fairly detailed understanding of colour science and the impact a light source can have on the perceived colour of an object. Metamerism is the change in perception of an object caused by changes in the light source and can create all sorts of issues with colour mismatches. This light creates, in reading mode, a temperature of light that is very close to that of natural sunlight. It can be dimmed, but the spectrum of light is covers is very similar to that of sunlight. In 'Painting mode' it is a slightly cooler light. That is, more blue. It isn't more accurate to identify colour, but definitely highlights certain colours over others.This is a great task light for reading, painting, working on small electronics repairs, or any task requiring extended bright light. It isn't easy on the eyes, but definitely easier.Now for the price... I feel it is fair and justified. This isn't some alphabet brand floor lamp. It is very high quality and has a thoughtful design, especially when it comes to the light it emits. It isn't for everyone, so if you're on a budget you'll likely get more bang for your buck elsewhere, but if it is within your budget and want a higher quality task/reading light this is a great device. I work with bright lights under heavy magnification where I need to differentiate between shades of white. As a result preserving my rods and cones is important for me and I feel the price is more than fair.Recommended!

Honeywell?

The Honeywell company has gone through lots of changes over the last several decades. Several years ago Honeywell spun off home products into a company named Resideo, but it seems the Honeywell brand is still placed on some home items like this floor lamp. The situation is confusing and doesn't lead to confidence in the brand once known for superb quality.Nevertheless, this light reflects the Honeywell products of old known for quality and longevity. It's a beautifully built light, perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, but not radically overpriced due to its quality.You can see the light in the product pictures and I can't really say more about it that would make the nature of the light more clear than the Amazon product description does other than to tell you that the light looks even better in person than on Amazon, and to add that the light's quality is consistent with its price.I was going to offer the light to a family member, but my wife has a craft room with a reading chair for me to use while she is working, and between the two of us we're quite certain we'll make use of it. So we're not giving it away. That's how nice this light is. I've done a video which gives a better idea of the range available through the controls, but for the written review all I need to say is that both by its electronic controls and by its various hinges and joints, this light is extraordinarily configurable.

Very nice floor lamp.

We ordered this super nice floor lamp to use in our crafts room. We have the whole room set up for different types of crafting and needed a nice light in there. This floor lamp was easy to assemble. It looks so nice and modern. We can easily swivel the head around to the area we want and the head is fully adjustable and can be set in nearly any position you could imagine. This floor lamp is dimmable too, so we can have it bright or dim, depending on what we need it for at the time.

Great quality flexible floor lamp

Super easy to assemble. Very heavy bottom making it very stable no matter what position you have it in. There is touch controls build into the pole that are easy to use. There is 2 different lighting temperatures selected with the two bottom buttons. Holding the power button will increase or decrease the brightness. Took way to long figuring out that holding the power button controls brightness. Overall amazing quality that you would expect from Honeywell. It is very bright but diffused so it doesn't blind you.
