This unit is NOT REMOTE CONTROL. It is a wall control unit, meaning it needs a dedicated hard wire from the unit to the switch. It should NOT be advertised or described as REMOTE CONTROL.

Wall switch defective. Called manufacturer, they said go to Home Depot. Went to Home Depot, they said call manufacturer. So, guess I’ll just take it down and return to Home Depot. Both have processes that conflict with one another, with the customer (me in the case) left holding the bag.

Nice smaller fan/light combination.

This is a nice multifunction fan/light combination. It does require a 3-wire switch set up. Like that it take bulbs which are included rather than an integrated LED.

[Rewarded Review] Nice clean design fan with LED light kit

This is a nice modern ceiling fan with conventional LED light kit having replaceable dimmable bulbs. The reversible blades are walnut wood color on one side and silver on the other to match the finish of the housing. Simple, clean lines blend well with most décor and the fan can be used in damp locations such as a covered patio. Downrod style mount allows for sloped ceiling installations.

This is a very high quality and stylish ceiling fan. The fan has a very high quality appearance. The fan has a modern look that would match just about any decorative style. The 44” fan blade length is perfect for a medium size room. The fan comes packaged nicely with product protection in mind. The instructions are very easy reading and installation shouldn’t be a problem for the average DIY homeowner. Great product for anyone looking for a ceiling fan upgrade!

This is a great fan we are installing this on our front porch so we can enjoy the summer evenings . As you can see by the instructions the assembly is a bit more than most fans the end result is fantastic you will not be disappointed .the brushed steel with the brown blades have a great contrast along with the sturdy construction you will enjoy this fan for years to come just take your time and read the instruction's thourghly be fore you start

[Rewarded Review] Great ceiling fan with dimmable lights

This review is for the Generation Lighting Era 44 in. Indoor/Outdoor Brushed Steel LED Ceiling Fan with Remote Control, Light Kit and Manual Reversible Motor. This a very nice ceiling fan and has a "modern" look to it and will look great in most decors. However, you can flip the fan blades over for a American Walnut wooden look on them. The Remote Control is not your normal hand help control but a hard wired wall unit that lets you adjust the light brightness and fan speed. This ceiling fan can be used indoors or outdoors. This fan will be installed under our covered deck. This fan even comes with two 9 watt dimmable LED bulbs. This fan can be used over a dinning table, covered patios, bedrooms, garage and other areas that you need a ceiling fan.

[Rewarded Review] Beautiful modern look

This is a review of the Generation Lighting Era 44” Indoor/Outdoor Brushed Steel LED Ceiling Fan with Remote Control. I installed this ceiling fan in an attic room that I use for gym equipment. The 44” size is perfect for the room. I like the brushed steel color. Even the blades offer the same color on one side, so the entire unit has a consistent color. The unit says it is LED lighting but that is because they include standard screw in LED bulbs. Because it has standard size light sockets the bulbs can be changed to any type if desired, which I think is an advantage over other fixtures that do not have standard light sockets. The remote control is a wired wall mounted style. I like these because the wireless remotes always seem to be misplaced in my home. Assembly and installation was not difficult. The manual that comes with the fan was well written and easy to follow. The hardware was all there and there is even a package of 'spare' screws. The fan is very quiet when operating, even on full flow. I have very pleased with this fan.

[Rewarded Review] Very nice fan

This Generation Lighting fan is a beauty. The quality appears first class. The finish is flawless. Assembly is quite simple. The control switch is unusual in that it has a switch for fan speed and a dimmer for the light. Light bulbs are included and are LEDs. This is a smaller 44" fan with 3 blades which I like and serves a smaller room very adequately. It has a modern and clean look and will go well in an updated room. Very nice.

You can tell the quality once you open the package. It is well packed for shipping and included all you need minus the tools. The globe is a glass piece as opposed to the plastic ones I have seen

[Rewarded Review] Nice looking fan.

I picked this fan to install between our kitchen and dining room. The brushed nickel finish is top tier. Brushed nickel will match almost any decor. This Generation Lighting fan features user replaceable bulbs. The included wall switch operates the fan and light separately. The included LED bulbs are the dimmable type. This installation would require an electrician to wire up and mount the switch for most consumers, so keep that in mind. The fan is very quiet and runs true.

Era 44 inch ceil fan is a 3 blade fan with remote control . but beware you will need a 5 wire to a wall switch outlet and ceiling electrical box for this fan to operate correctly . the remote is a wall switch you will need to have one lead for the Led light and one lead for the 4 speed fan control. you are given a choice between silver blades or dark American Walnut . you can buy a optional down rod up to 60 inch for higher then 8 ft ceilings . the Generation Lighting Era 44 in. is a high polish finish body and design for both indoor or outdoor insulation in a lanai or porch. it comes with a lifetime warranty and a 1800 number if you require help .

Great product

The Generation Lighting / Monte Carlo-Era 44 LED Ceiling Fan in Midnight Black is a great product. It has a nice sleek design. It provides good airflow through my room and provides a nice amount of light.

Beautiful ceiling fan! I love the new 3 blades fans. They just look so sleek and modern. The dark color goes great with our living room. It has the perfect amount of soft lighting. Pretty simple Installation process. I recommend if you've never installed a ceiling fan ask someone for assistance to to make sure everything is hooked up properly.

I absolutely love this generation Lighting Monte Carlo LED ceiling fan. The black color goes perfectly with our guest bedroom. The style complements the rest of my furniture. It is very sleek and modern looking. It was very easy to install. My son put it up in less than a half hour. The directions were very clear and helpful. I would definitely recommend this fan to others.

Gorgeous

Gorgeous fan. It would have gone perfectly in our sons play room/our game room. Unfortunately that room isn’t wired for a fan. If it only had a remote, it would be perfect. It can be tricky with these new homes to know if it’s wired for a fan and a light, so a remote could solve all of those problems. But it really is a very nice fan and we will probably eventually switch it out with our living room fan.
