NOT compatible with universal hanging file folders
The "hanging" apparatus by which the green file folders that are inserted at a hem at two tops of folded file with metal "hooks" that act as the support struts by which we all can sort and slide them back and forth as we access and store our letter sized paperwork and documents. This cart is about 1/2" inch on each side where the exposed hooks normally align perfectly for the rest of the file to "hang" perfectly between the two rods. Again, here the rods are a full inch too narrow where most important for the hanging files to do their namesake. Sorry, return city, sweetheart.
