Easy to use

This was very easy to put together and it feels steady and secure. It is a cinch to put in the compost and I am pleased with my purchase!

Absolutely Love this for my greenhouse compost! Works incredible if loaded correctly. I watched Youtube videos for 'layering' technique of loading. Layer of browns (smaller twigs, bark etc. that will allow air flow), layer of greens, kitchen waste, then repeat. For me, loading this way has worked perfect to break the material down swiftly into beautiful compost.

This is an excellent composter; very sturdy. This is the second one that we have owned; the first one lasted 9 years in the scorching Arizona desert.

Cool Composter

This bin was fairly easy to assemble (by 65 year old woman). I am shocked that it actually works! Just follow the instructions and amazingly, compost is created. Most shocking was the little bugs that make their way into the material to create compost.

Quality Product

We love our composter. It was easy to assemble. It Doesn't take up much space and you dont have to turn the compost!

Good composting bin

We've made one batch of compost in the Aerobins. It was carefully concocted recipes with some horse manure, corn stover, straw, etc. Very good composting. No odor. The compost didn't get over 120f which is a bit cool considering the warm weather. A bit more insulation might make the bins even better.

The quality seems as excellent as you will see on reviews elsewhere. Only a week in for us now now and this thing is 'cooking.' Note that, as another review 'complained', the color delivered was green, not grey as pictured and described online. Thankfully I had read that review and was fine with either color. The color issue is for Wayfair customer service and shouldn't affect the product quality review. The way they show it installed on the side of the house is pretty troublesome too. Do your research, set this up right and it seems great to me.

Hi! Only had it a couple weeks. It really hasn't had a chance to work.

Good static composter

Assembled quickly and easily and is useful in many ways. I was able to assemble by myself, but assistance would be helpful. For the urban gardener it is clean and inconspicuous next to your trash bins or tool shed. The center tube allows for a fungal dominant compost while maintaining aerobic environment for microbes. All molded plastic is far better over time as the metal parts in some other composters tend to rust. Would highly recommend.

I had to have been a masochist to purchase this composter

The guy that designed how to assemble this composter was a sadist. After you read this review if you are a masochist and want a well constructed composter this is the one for you.

Fabulous liquid gold!

Had an Aerobin for years in Australia; amazing. Could put weeds in it which composted really well, thanks to the internal heating. Had a container permanently under the tap to drain 'liquid gold'; added H2O, then into a watering can. Brilliant. Best to sit it on top of a pallet so that you have a bit of height to access the tap. You don't have to do anything to your garden waste once it is in the bin; ie, no turning. Remember to add dry things as well. Very easy to put together and move. Absolutely the best compost bin I have owned (and I have had several others!)

I have not been able to get my compost to cook. I took everything out of the bin and the leaves where dry and the bottom was wet. Not sure what I need to do. I try layering green and brown. Any suggestions?

Insulated yes, but not enough to really get hot in the middle of New England winter. But did not freeze. Also run wetter a more open composter, so kitchen peelings sometimes overwhelm.

This composter is great! It's extremely easy to put assemble and, more importantly, it makes composting SO EASY! I haven't had to mix/turn the compost; with their patented internal lung, all you have to do is toss your fruit/veggie scraps in and close the lid.

Looks good in theory, but honestly, does NOT work well.

I can not find a way to keep this thing from falling apart. I just got it, put it together and after filling the bin 1/3, or "maybe" 1/2 full with mostly green grass clippings, a small amount of brown leaves, and minimal garden scraps, both the front and back bottom sliding doors have easily popped-off. The corner side pieces have now split open too. Generally, all the stuff that was "in" has now fallen out on to our patio. And generally, it is a pretty big stinky mess. Presently, I have a strap cinched around it in an effort to keep things from going everywhere.
