The frame is too big for a king sized mattress so there is extra space left at the foot of the bed and you are able to see the plank through it
Terribly designed structure
Read this comment before you buy! This bed has significant flaws in its deign. The headboard side has no weight support but this tiny leg in the center. Any movement sideway would move the leg and cause the entire side of the bed to collapse. Also the latch on both sides can easily come off.
