I read the reviews about how cheap it is.I had no idea just how bed this would be. It's far worse than the reviews DON"T BUY THIS !!!!!!!! They would not give me enough room to detail all the issues. Trust me run away ..............

Noisier on high than I expected. Even on low it's too loud to leave on at night, it keeps me up at night. It seems to come on for only a few minutes then shut back off again, rarely runs for a half our or more like our other AirCare on our lower level. (The motor died on it, we replaced it, and it is even louder now, which is why I bought the new one.)

I ordered one, came with no fan blade, they sent a replacement and it is so loud & not using any water. The second one is being returned as well. Poor quality, not what they used to be. Had my old one for 10+ years.

Works great! Our whole house has improved greatly with this humidifier. Easy to put together with no extra help needed. Looks sharp, too. Delivery from our local Ace was also outstanding. Highly recommend.

Humidifier

This unit is a modern looking humidifier, doesn't look like the usual wood grain models that everyone buys. Runs and has 9 fan speeds. Easy fill water containers that fit on each side of the fan. The nice thing is that one container runs out before the second tank starts . You can refill one tank without the unit running out of water and turning off.

This thing is crazy good and works just great for what I needed it for. I have set up in a Direct To Garment printing room with three DTG printers and three heat presses and it works perfectly. The DTGs print with water based inks and I can easily keep the unity around the 60 mark, no problem. The water compartments on each side hold a ton of water and I only refill them once a week even though this unit runs 24.7. A+++++++++++++++++++

Have had it for about a month, replaced a similar unit that was a little over 10 years old. A little louder than the old one, but the fan doesn’t need to run as high.

LOUD! LOUD! LOUD! Unless it is set on speed level 1 it is loud. The fan vibrates or hums at any speed above 1. My house is 2,500 square feet The unit is on the main floor and it doesn’t increase the humidity much at all upstairs. It also arrived with a broken cover. Based on the packaging is suspect that it might have been a returned unit. There is no indication that the bottles are empty the fan just isn’t running which is the same thing that happens when it reaches the set humidity level. The unit It was replacing was way better. Too bad they no longer make that one even though it used the same wick and filter.

Noisy and annoying fan

I have owned this unit for approximately 2 weeks. Week 1 was no issue but week 2 the fan started to click on low and medium speeds. I've checked and re-checked everything and can not get the fan to quiet down. The only speed that does not click is high but then the fans are too loud and not practical for everyday use. I've contacted the company asking for a solution or resolution and will update this review if they fix the issue. I have no pets or children that may have done something or dropped something into the unit. It sits in my hallway and I fill the water containers as needed throughout the day. I leave the unit on auto and it cycles on and off as advertised once the set humidity level is achieved.

AirCare 4DTS 900 Humidifier

The only feature the 4DTS 900 needs is the CL (Control Lock ) feature to make it a 5 star Humidifier. I called AirCare Products and talked to a person that said it did have it, based on looking through the manual and seeing that it tells in the troubleshooting section how to turn off the Control lock. I told her that it doesn't tell how to turn it on. Then I got a call from AirCare's Corp. Office who said they would check with Engineering Dept. and get back to me...hasn't happened weeks later. I needed a new Humidifier, so I kept this one for my house and bought an AirCare HD 1409 for my daughter, which does have the Control Lock feature. Both work very well, but with a 5 year old and a 7 year old in her house, the control Lock feature is a must.

Does what's advertised but didn't realize it would be so noisy. Even on the lowest setting there's a pretty loud fan noise. Was hoping with so many fan settings that it'd be quiet on low.

I did buy this product again and I would do so in the future

I 've used this product for a long time - my first humidifier was over 15 years old when it recently quit. I replaced it with this new version - works extremely well, easy to assemble and easy to operate.
