UP / DOWN CORDLESS SHADES.

These shades are in every window of my home for many years. They're nice looking and are good at filtering light. The 'up down feature is great, it allows you to pull the shade half way down a window and let sunlight in and keep bottom half of window covered for privacy. USE the plastic handles when positioning the shade... DO NOT pull the shade by the polyester material because it rips very easily. When using this proper care - they'll last a long time.

Shade okay but not as advertised

Shade is fine but not as advertised. Photos had 2 strings shown; product has 4. 2 strings looks cleaner. Top-down feature does not go all the way down, only about 4/5 down, so I was not able to use it as intended.

A great find

I needed to replace a cellular shade I got from a now defunct home furnishing store in 2012. I had little hope of finding the same brand again after so long, but I noticed that the mounting hardware on these Achim shades was very similar to mine. I took a chance on a pair of the wheat shades for my kitchen and was delighted to see that the hardware is an exact match. Fastest, easiest installation ever.

these just actually work well, i wish there were more sizes. I've tried a few others, arlo was ok too, . but achim is my favorite. easy to install, the pull mechanism just works and doesn't jam up. there is a lip in front which keeps it looking clean as these type of blinds often don't go flush to the top perfect. also super easy to take off and on to dust. love these.

Beautiful clean look and easy to install. Love the top down feature to let light in and still have privacy. I've purchased this style of shade before, but not this brand. Would highly recommend. Arrived on time and undamaged.

Excellent quality and price!

I have 27" windows and these fit pretty snug. The material is a finer nonwoven than my old cellular shades that looked like Pellon interfacing. The pleats are tinier and more elegant. I was able to put the screws in without drilling and my only confusion was the top handle is a bit more square than the rounded bottom handle. Note the difference before you struggle with putting them on. The price is nice for a top down shade and I may order more just to dress up my other windows....the white really brightens up the room but gives a nice break from the direct summer sun. Love them!

The Shades work like a charm. We have them in our dining room window. The window is very close to the street and our neighbors walk the sidewalk. Sometimes our neighbors would wave at us. The top down bottom up provides privacy while eating and still being able to see the trees and sky outside.

Love the flexibility of these top down bottom up cellular shades. They are perfect for any room.Did an outside mount. My husband did the installation which he said was much easier that the old inside mount vinyl blinds which were replaced by the new cellular shades. This brand is good for smaller windows and i would have purchased more for other rooms but had to find other sources due to my window sizes. The linen color light filtering is kind of dark especially where the fabric folds are dense but i like the look. I eliminated the curtains altogether

This item is more than what I thought. Looks good and easy to install. Perfectly designed. No disrespect but this is easy for any unexperienced women or child who's not to knowledgeable of putting things together. I will be buying more sets just to have and put in other rooms. The only thing I wish could be better is if the color was a little darker and I purchased the wheat. Other than that great product for the price. I cosign anyone thinking about getting this item, DO IT.

Easy to install, attractive, and insulating. LOVE

These are awesome for the price! Purchased them to replace more expensive ones I had purchases elsewhere a few years ago because they had become faded, uneven, and started to rip. The Achim shades are super simple to install and they snap in and out with ease. They are more paper-like, thinner material than my previous shades, but they are also lighter and easier to lift up and down. I love that the outside facing color is white, which helps reflect the sun. Because of that, they do a better job of reducing heat inside the room than my other ones. They are not blackout, but they are what I would call "room darkening". Also, again because the outside material is white, they provide excellent privacy at night even when the inside lights are on. I wish they had come with the little brackets you install at the bottom of the sill to help hold them in place when they are down, but other than that I have no complaints. LOVE them.

I am in love with these shades. I have had them up for two weeks. They let in a great amount of light while ensuring privacy which is what I was looking for. This is my first time buying honeycomb/cellular shades,so my frame of reference is the traditional vinyl mini blinds. This was a huge upgrade for me. I love the cordless function. The blinds go up and down smoothly on both the top up and bottom down sections. The construction seems very sturdy. The top rail is made of a thick plastic and the blinds were really easy to install.

The size did no work for me I ordered a 23x64 . I thought I could make it work I needed a 25x64 . It left to much space in the width . I did contact the seller to see if they sold a 25w by chance they did not have that size . Waiting on instructions for return . But overall quality was good for the price

Purchased several of these. All have been installed inside the frame of Andersen Narroline windows which are pretty similar to current 400 series windows. Very easy to install. Material is very good quality and the Top Down - Bottom Up function works well. The only reason I didn't give these shades a 5 is the pulling down to the bottom of the window frame the shade rises back up about an inch or so. This can be solved by pulling the shade down out in front of the window frame then setting the shade bottom back in to the window frame but high end shades will go to the bottom of the frame with no rise up. Very good product and we will buy many more.
