My old one failed and had to go new. This was an exact replacement and works great. A little soldering and were done. Kind of like plug n play. I definitely recommend this product.

No comunication
They send email saying my actuator has long back order and I should upgrade. I ask how much and they never respond
perfect replacement
Ordered this unit to replace one that had been wind damaged. Exactly as described and easily installed.
Breaks often but still a good deal
So, I’m on my third actuator. They break about every 1-2 years by cracking on the back side that mounts on the gate post. The plastic fractures and the actuator rips itself apart. Happens on the left side too. However, these actuators are cheap compared to the competition.
Poor design, housing will break in a 15 mph wind gust. At least you can buy cheap but not expensive replacement parts

I orders two hinges. Both plastic bags were open and taped back together, Each hinge has a ball bearing. One of the taped together bags was missing the ball bearing. Not a big deal as the ball bearing cost $.40at the hardware store.
