Wood split

There were 3 pieces that were split right out of the box. One of the front boards (tongue and groove) the tongue was broken off. The wood is too dry, for this price it should be better quality.

I like the planter but one part was missing. Fortunately it was a “flooring” board that I could easily replace with wood I had around.

Product dissatisfaction

My first purchase, 3years ago, was very easy and quick to put together. This recent purchase took me 2 hours to assemble. Bottom boards did not fit. Had to trim the each corner board by 2 inches using my hand jig saw as I do not own a circular saw. The side boards did not slide into the slots easy and had to tap them into place using a hammer. Very disappointed as my last one

Was easy to put together but was a little “wobbly” so I reinforced with some screws and L brackets and it’s great. I also added wheels so I can move it more easily. Now if only the tomato plants would yield some tomatoes.

Be forwarned

Poor experience all around. Boards were warped and whole structure was very unstable. I contacted company. Initial response seemed helpful but then they simply stopped all communication and wouldn't answer emails. I got my credit card company involved. After working on the case, they obtained full refund.

Two large pieces of wood were glued together (not supposed to be). After contacting the company, they reassured me that if they broke when attempting to separate them, they would send replacement pieces. Luckily, no damage occurred when separating them. The elevated bed looks great and only took about 10min to put together!!

This box is well made. It felt a little wobbly to me so we added some screws into the bottom. I also added wheels so I can move it. It slides well and has a lot of space for plants. Im happy with it.

I love this raised bed. It is a great size for herbs and is perfect on the patio outside my kitchen door. The herbs are thriving! I gave it a good coat of boiled linseed oil before filling with dirt, and it is very attractive. The cedar is fairly rough, but it was all very easy to put together.

One leg (with stud/plastic cap) has a two inch long split in the corner of the top. The other is missing the stud and plastic cap.

Great elevated garden

This is a great set up if you want to grow a few plants without bending. I have 3 tomatoes, 2 eggplant and 3 peppers. It is a bit crowded as the tomatoes got big quick, but it is working well. Assembly took 10 min. It looks good and is sturdy.

Great Beginner Planter

This planter is so easy to put together. No tools are needed. This size is great for a beginner and is a great height, great for saving your back. I’m planting some tomatoes and lettuces in mine this year.

Kinda pricey for what it is.

Had this about 2 weeks. Assembly was pretty easy, but it did not come with any screws. It's advertised as "tool-less assembly" because you simply slide the sides into dovetail grooves in the posts. However, no way is provided to secure the bottom slats and once you have it put together it is extremely wobbly. So I got my drill and some deck screws and put screws in each slat and then each side board at the corners -that made it solid and secure. I recommend doing that if you buy this. Make sure you pre-drill for each screw to keep the wood from splitting. It's solid cedar, which isn't cheap but I still thought the price was a bit high. Otherwise, I give it good marks for design, height and quality.
