very dissapointed

I love all the All-Clad products I own. I've bought quite a bit over the last few years. But these tongs are the worst tongs I have ever used! I have tongs that I bought from the dollar store for literally, $1.00. that are far better designed, easier to use, lighter and generally better in every way then these. This is the first review of any product I have ever bought. I don't like complaining and will not return them or request a refund. But these thing are an abomination, and a drag on the good name of All-Clad. I felt compelled to let you guys know.

High Quality

Third time purchasing these great tongs! SO Sturdy: the quality of the steel & workmanship is exceptional. Had first pair for several years (look brand new!), family gathering prompted 2 more orders as gifts. Son loves sure locking mechanism for steaks, "PERFECT".

Married for a long time

I have had my tongs for20 years. I love them so much . I cook very often and these were my go to over a fork or really anything

Good but pricey

Honestly chefs go through a lot of tongs. I tend to use 2-3 whenever I'm cooking minimally. At this price, you're better off to just buy some more cost effective ones at a local supply store. That being said, for what they do, and how well manufactured they are, these are nice tongs.

Beautiful but not practical

Though beautiful, these tongs are not as useful as one would hope. They don’t open as far as needed to be helpful, and they don’t open easily, even after lubrication with silicone lube and oil. They are heavier than they need to be making them practically not very useful. I find myself reaching for other more lightweight and maneuverable tongs rather than these. Will probably use primarily on serving table than in the kitchen.

Grill accessory

Bought these tongs today because of the length. My husband said they worked perfectly for cooking on the grill and keeping his hands away from the heat.

Best tongs I ever had

Essential. Ease of using these tongs is plus point! Had I thers and they were nkt easy users. Just like grandma hsd...simplistic but terrific.

Great tongs until the spring breaks

Great tongs, I purchased both the 12" kitchen size and the 18" BBQ size. They worked really well until the torsion spring in each of them broke. Unfortunately All Clad doesn't make a replacement spring so both of these are now dead in the water.

Nice tongs, but quite heavy.

Beautiful product, however only 3 stars due to size and weight causing discomfort while using.

Stainless steel tongs- not for me thanks.

I felt the tongs were too large for the task and the ability to use them is cumbersome. For that size one should be able to work with a larger piece of protein unfortunately you can only use them for protein that’s not too thick like chicken breasts.

Well made tongs. Exactly what is needed for entertaining! I would have given them 5 stars if they were a little lighter in weight.

Very heavy duty

These are some serious, heavy duty tongs. If you’re looking for something lightweight to use as serving utensils, look elsewhere. These tongs are for flipping large chunks of root vegetables, squashes, and tomahawk steaks.

Very nice

I'm quite impressed with this pair of tongs. The quality is next to none! I really like the locking mechanism as compared to most cheaper tongs out there. The little switch on the side is easy to use and I can tell it's not going to fail like other locks on tongs. I love that these are stainless steel as well. The ridges are great for gripping different foods, especially right out of the air fryer, which I use almost daily. The only small downside to these tongs is that they're a little heavy. They're obviously heavy-duty but they have a bit of weight to them, which mostly just means they may not be suitable for those who might struggle with that sort of thing. I know these tongs will last me a lifetime, though, so I am definitely pleased.

Great quality tongs

The fire thing you’ll notice is the solid construction, build and materials. They’re very shiny as well. So far, they’ve been really useful for just about any kitchen task. The weight is very nice and balanced which makes for easy use.

Nice Tongs

I never knew there was a such thing as fancy tongs until I got these. The sleek stainless steel design is functional and beautiful. They are a little on the heavier side compared to my other ones but still easy to use. The handle also did not get really hot while I was cooking with them.

Very sturdy

I’m so happy I bought my new tongs .. they are strong , and so sturdy . I love the locking mechanism and the ease of use . I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a new pair of tongs , you won’t be disappointed.
